We are excited to launch the Rise Inclusion Football Academy 2023 (IFA23) as we continue to expand our program for footballers with a disability. We are proud to welcome Rise as our program partner for another season of Rise IFA23.
Aimed at footballers with a disability aged 16 years and above, the Academy, under the guidance of head coaches – will center around the development of FOOTBALL – WELL BEING – LEADERSHIP
Every club in the Integrated Competition and invited families are asked to submit players whom they believe would benefit from the experience. The agreed-submitted squad will be invited to compete in a Draft Combine presented by the WA Football AFL Talent Academy and two additional training sessions. These will be invite-only sessions.
A squad of 44 players will then be chosen and they will be invited to continue to train for the Rise Inclusion Football Academy and will play three Exhibition matches on Wednesday, September 13, September 20 under lights and then the decider in the afternoon at Mineral Resources Park 1/12/23.
Please speak with your coaches and club managers to be considered for an invitation, we want representatives from every club.
