The Stampers Mess - Genna Gifford Based in Cranbourne North, Victoria and serving stampers Australia-wide! Being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is so much more than I thought it would or could be.

I signed up to justify the time I wanted to spend being creative but couldn’t fit in around my busy life. And what I found is an endless array of people to meet and share my passion with. My solitary hobby is now the means of getting equal pleasure from learning, teaching and sharing the world of stamping. And the rewards go far beyond allowing myself to indulge my passion. I get to share it with others and watch as they grow and develop in their skills. There’s nothing better than seeing someone get such joy from creations they didn’t know they were capable of. Add to that the friendships I’ve formed with customers and fellow demonstrators, the skills I’ve learnt, the cards, scrapbook pages, gift and keepsakes I’ve created and there simply is no looking back. He's a huge photography nerd and we're one of those annoying 'love at first sight' couples who met in passing in a hostel in Albuquerque while we were backpacking the world in opposite directions - so we definitely just 'clicked' then and we still click 27 years later.

In February the product is the Painted Illusions 12" x 12" paper pack. I love the swirls and watercolour look on these pages and the colours are amazing.

For my first card I fussy cut some of the swirls so that I could pop them up on Dimensionals and give the card more depth. I added some stamped hearts and some die-cut ones. I also curved the greeting stamp on my block to match the curve of the paper.

For the second card, I used a similar paper but this time with fewer colours. That leant itself to a more natural look so I teamed it with the Nature's Symphony dies - all in white. All I did to the paper was to cut it into 3cm strips and adhere them with small gaps in between.

A couple of days ago I showed you my Cousin It card made using the shaggy tree die in the Festive Friends die set (currently for sale in the Last Chance list).
Here's an updated version with a hat that I made using the foot from the Gingerbread Man dies. It was the perfect fit!

When I first saw the little shaggy tree die from the Festive Friends die set I called it the Cousin It tree. So I couldn't help using it to create a Cousin It project.
He's just 8 of those trees in Pecan Pie cardstock. And I adapted his glasses from the heart-shaped ones in the Notes & Totes dies.

Have you seen that Stampin' Up! have a new Stampin' Positioner?
