When was the last time you booked a check-up just for YOU?

I know how easy it is to put your health at the bottom of the list especially in midlife.

But menopause brings changes to your bones, heart, and pelvic floor, and a few simple checks can make a huge difference.

✨ YES to strong bones → a quick bone density scan.
✨ YES to a healthy heart → blood pressure + cholesterol check.
✨ YES to a confident pelvic floor → an assessment with a women’s health physio.

💬 Which one will you be saying YES to this year?

Saying YES to myself gave me back my midlife glow. ✨

Many women in midlife lose their glow because we spend so much time caring for everyone else that there’s hardly anything left for ourselves.

But this month, we’re turning that around and saying:

✨ YES to strength, even when joints feel stiff.
✨ YES to rest, without guilt.
✨ YES to check-ups, because prevention matters.
✨ YES to moving your body in ways that feel good.
✨ YES to thriving, not just surviving.

It doesn’t have to be fancy, big, or complicated, it just has to be for YOU. 🌸

✨ Women’s Health Week 2025 is here! ✨

This year’s theme is all about learning to “Say Yes to You” and I couldn’t love it more.

In midlife and menopause, so many of us forget that we matter. We put ourselves last—behind kids, partners, parents, and work. This week, I’m inviting you to flip the script.

👉 Say YES to moving your body
👉 Say YES to rest without guilt
👉 Say YES to asking for help
👉 Say YES to feeling strong again

What’s one thing you’ll say YES to this week for your health and wellbeing?

You know that stubborn midsection weight that seems to sneak in during midlife?

Turns out, it’s not just about diet or activity.

There’s real science behind it.

Menopause shifts how our bodies store fat from hips/thighs to the belly due to lower estrogen levels

And this change raises the risk for cardiovascular disease if we’re not mindful.

I’ll drop the links in the post comments so you can check them out when you like.

Ladies, what’s been the biggest change you’ve noticed in your weight since hitting midlife?

We're all busy and we all know that stress isn't good for us, but it's so hard to find time to relax and de-stress.

When you're feeling stressed out, it can be tough to focus on anything else. Your thoughts are racing and you feel like you're constantly juggling multiple tasks. You may feel overwhelmed and out of control.

One of the best ways to combat stress is through physical activity.

Not only does exercise release endorphins – those feel-good hormones that make you smile – but it also helps clear the mind by allowing the flow of creative juices to start up again. Plus, a little sweat can help you get back in control of your emotions and give you a sense of accomplishment.

In this blog post, we'll give you tips on how to find the time and energy to make physical activity part of your routine so that you can start feeling better quickly!
