Eye Contact provides friendly, professional eyecare covering all aspects of eye health and vision correction for all ages. We support Medicare bulk billing and HICAPS health fund rebates and we stock a carefully curated range of optical frames and sunglasses. Walter Cason is a well respected Gold Coast Optometrist. Walter attained his degree in Optometry from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. He has also worked in London and qualified as a member of the British College of Optometrists.

Having a regular eye test can reveal the presence of vision defects and ocular health conditions. which includes detection of eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and cataracts.

It is recommended to have an eye examination at least once every two years.

We fit contact lenses, even if you want coloured lenses for fun we will make sure they fit nicely and don’t damage your eyes.

If you notice a change in your vision we recommend making an immediate appointment as small changes can indicate serious sight threatening problems.
