Alpine Green Tea in the Snowies 🌿
We’re planting more Camellia sinensis — the hardy alpine variety from Japan that thrives in our cold mountain climate. These small tea plants are just getting started, but in time, they’ll form the heart of our local-grown, hand-harvested green tea.
Snowy roots. Wholesome leaves. Watch this space. 🍃

The first leaves are in — and we’re just getting started.

Here at Alpine Herbs, we are busy planting our first rows of Alpine Green Tea (Camellia sinensis) in the Snowy Mountains soil we call home.

Over the next few months, we’ll be expanding our alpine herb plantation by also planting more calendula, chamomile, black peppermint, lavender, rosemary, yarrow, and more — all carefully chosen to thrive in our cool climate and support natural wellness from the ground up.

We’re proud to share that Alpine Herbs is owned by Instinks — and grown on the very same property where their natural, plastic-free skincare is handmade. You’ll already find Alpine Green Tea in many Instinks products — and soon, more of our herbs will follow.

🌱 This is our next chapter: — Grown, not just sourced
— Sustainably harvested
— Infused with care into products you can feel good about

We’re growing the future of herbal skincare — one hardy alpine herb at a time.

3 Simple Ways to Use Dried Herbs 🌿❄️
Our herbs aren’t just pretty – they’re powerful, versatile, and easy to use. Here’s how:

🫖 1. Brew a Tea
Steep a teaspoon in hot water for 5–10 mins. Sip slowly and feel the calm.

🛁 2. Add to a Bath
Toss a small handful in a muslin bag or tea strainer. Soak, breathe, relax.

🌱 3. Infuse in Oil
Cover herbs in your favourite carrier oil (like jojoba or olive), let sit for 2–4 weeks, then strain.

Our Alpine-grown calendula, chamomile, peppermint, lavender & more are ready to inspire your herbal rituals.

From our field to your sore spots.

Calendula. Yarrow. Chamomile. Rosemary.
These aren’t just pretty flowers — they’re the real herbal muscle behind our natural salves.

At Alpine Herbs, we grow and harvest medicinal herbs right here in the Snowy Mountains.
At Instinks, we turn those herbs into powerful, plant-based body care, like our warming muscle balm.

No fillers. No fluff.
Just sun-grown herbs → infused oils → handmade relief.
Grown with care. Crafted with purpose.

🧡 This is what real skincare looks like — before it hits the tin.

Just the Beginning at Alpine Herbs 🌿
Up here in the Snowy Mountains, we’re sowing something real. Alpine Herbs is still in its early days — our first batches of calendula, yarrow, and chamomile are growing under crisp mountain skies. 💛

We’re not pretending to be a big operation. Just passionate, hands-in-the-dirt kind of people. Right now, our small-batch herbal products contain around 10% of our own homegrown herbs — but every leaf is nurtured, harvested, and dried right here on our 100-acre property near Jindabyne, NSW.

✨ This is slow, seasonal herbalism.
✨ This is real, honest skincare support.
✨ This is Alpine-grown goodness — and it's only going to grow from here.

Follow along as we build something truly local, one herb at a time.

Coming soon from the Snowy Mountains...

We’ve been out harvesting wild yarrow (Achillea millefolium) by hand — one stem at a time.

Sorting, drying, and packing takes time, but this herb deserves the care.

🌿 Traditionally used for skin, tea, and energetic protection
🌿 Grown naturally on our high-country land
🌿 No sprays, no shortcuts — just nature doing her thing

Watch this space — Alpine-grown yarrow is nearly ready for your home apothecary.

At Alpine Herbs, we’ve begun cultivating a small selection of medicinal herbs and flowers here in the Snowy Mountains, NSW — like calendula, chamomile, and yarrow.

While we’re still in early stages, a portion of our homegrown harvest will soon be blended into each batch — combined with high-quality herbs we carefully source to meet demand.

🌼 Australian-grown where possible
♻️ Packaged plastic-free
🧺 Ethically harvested, naturally dried

We’re not rushing this — and we’re not pretending to be something we’re not.

At Instinks, we turn those herbs into powerful, plant-based body care — like our warming muscle balm.

This is local herbalism in progress, and we’re excited to bring you along as we grow 🌿

“The herbs don’t stop just because it’s winter.”
Up here in the Snowy Mountains, the cold air carries a different kind of magic. ❄️🌿
Right now, we’re prepping beds, drying herbs from our last harvest, dreaming of spring fields full of chamomile, yarrow, and calendula. Yet there are still some flowers refusing to give up in this climate.
We grow them tough up here 🤣🥰

Alpine Herbs is small, hand-grown, and grounded in our local soil — and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Used in our business Instinks and available in our shop.
✨ Hand grown and harvested in small batches. Made on the mountain.
