The gentle morning yoga classes are inclusive and suitable for everyone, regardless of age, fitness level, or physical limitations. Asanas (moves) are often modified using props, blankets or blocks, helping support beginners, seniors, pregnant individuals, or those recovering from injuries or the experienced Yogi looking for a deeply nourishing class.
We always start the class with a focus on our Sankalpa (intention). This mindful approach helps develop a stronger connection to the practice helping enhance overall body awareness. Also setting the tone for each class to create the experience.
The slow pace of the classes and mindful shapes will help improve your flexibility and range of motion without straining muscles. So if you’re new this is the perfect class. This is particularly beneficial for those with stiff joints or chronic pain conditions, promoting mobility and support to the joints. We always give full permission to honour the body and where it’s at.
Gentle yoga focuses on slow, deliberate movements and deep breathing techniques that activate the body’s parasympathetic nervous system, helping to reduce stress and promote sense of calm and relaxation.
