Our monthly homebirth meetup is on next Friday!

Open to anyone with a respectful interest in homebirth - whether you’re planning one, have had one, transferred, are curious to learn more, or you’re a birth worker.

Kids are welcome, we have a few in our group.

I also want to extend this invitation to anyone who might be struggling to find their people. If you’re looking to connect with a community of likeminded people, you are welcome to join us.

All I ask is that everyone comes with respect for each other and their choices.

This is a safe, supportive space to connect. 💜

I’m not sure what the weather is doing next week, but if it’s not great we’ll meet indoors. Updates will be shared in the WhatsApp group. If you’d like to join the chat, send me a DM.

I’ll be completely honest…
When I prepared for my first birth, I thought a calm birth meant being quiet and chill AF.

But that’s just not how I experienced labour, so I thought I must have done something wrong.
Because all the girlies in the birth videos I watched were absolute zen queens. 🧘🏻‍♀️✨

Then came my second birth (a fully physiological homebirth) and I finally understood something I wish I knew earlier…

👉🏻 A calm birth isn’t about what it looks like.
It’s about how you feel.

Turns out I labour loud.
Because labour is intense (who knew? lol 🔥😅)
And I felt safe enough to fully surrender to that intensity.

So if making noise or the thought of losing control in labour worries you, here’s your reminder:

It’s ok to let it all out 🤍
Your nervous system needs safety, not silence.

❔What does a calm birth mean to you? Let’s chat about it in the comments

I’m a birth doula and mum of two. I’ve experienced both a traumatic unplanned caesarean and a VBAC at home.
Now I support women to prepare for birth on their own terms - fully informed, and with a deep sense of self trust.

Here are 5 things I refuse to feel guilty about:

➡️ Talking about the reality that hospital systems are designed around bed flow, risk management, and liability - not individual birth experiences.

➡️ Reminding you that you have full bodily autonomy. You get to say yes or no to whatever the f**k you want, even if it makes others uncomfortable. Your body, your rules.

➡️ Encouraging you to educate yourself about birth. Not just breathing techniques, but understanding your options and how to navigate decisions from a place of being fully informed.

➡️ Talking openly about birth trauma and maternal mental health. I’m not ok with the fact that 1 in 3 women describe their birth as traumatic, and you shouldn’t be either.

➡️ Supporting women to trust themselves. No one hands you your power in birth, that’s yours to claim. So take up space. Raise your voice. Ask questions. Advocate for what matters to you.

If this is your vibe, follow and let’s be friends 🔥❤️

Which of these did you resonate with most?

Not all heroes wear capes… some are just a little more chaotic than others 😅

How many of these are on your bingo card?

Birth is a lot for partners too, especially when it’s your first rodeo and you’re not really sure what to expect. But it’s such an important role!

Shoutout to the partners who step up, stay present, and protect the birth space 💜

If you’ve supported a mama in labour, share your support tips in the comments 👇🏻

Follow for all things pregnancy + birth prep.

And if you’re pregnant and want support that includes your partner (not sidelines them), slide into my DMs with your due month and let’s chat ✨

✨2025✨

There were a lot of highs, but also many lows!

I’ve learned so much, and feel so grateful for the families that have welcomed me into their lives and allowed me to walk alongside them during such a sacred time.

I will never not be in awe of women.

We are strong, capable, powerful, intuitive, inspiring, and f**king awesome.

Can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store 💜

Ps. I still have a couple of spots available for birth support in Jan - early April. If you’re looking for a doula who is down to earth, a bit of a birth nerd, and not at all woo woo - DM me your birth month and let’s chat!

Yes, I will call you a boss bitch. Because you are. 💅🏻

The world is loud. And now that you’re pregnant, it probably feels even louder.

Everyone has an opinion about all the s**t you need to buy, the things you can and can’t do (with YOUR body), and the endless lists of things you should do when preparing for birth.

It’s overwhelming.

Beyond all the noise, you know you want to feel prepared for birth - but not with another tip you’ll probs forget in a few weeks anyway.

You’re the kinda gal who knows deep down that birth is so much more than a checklist of breathing techniques or labouring positions.

It’s transformational.
Life altering.
An experience that stays with you forever.

You’re the gal who refuses to accept the standard maternity care experience as “good enough.”

You know you deserve more.

You want to walk into birth knowing who you are and what you need.

You crave emotional safety, mindset work, nervous system regulation, deep preparation.

You want to feel seen.
Empowered.
In tune with yourself.

And maybe no one has told you this yet… but birth prep can look completely different.
More grounded.
More supportive.
More intentional.

If this feels like it’s written for you… it probably is.

I’m working on a new offering for 2026, and I would LOVE for you to stick around, connect, and help me shape this into something that leaves you feeing seen and supported on a deeper level.

I’ll be back on call in a couple of weeks after taking some time off and I’m SO EXCITED!

Being a doula is truly a dream come true, I’m so lucky to be invited into such a special time in someone’s life. I’m so grateful to the families that have had me along for the ride 🥰

My books for 2026 are open. If you’re thinking about having a doula by your side, I’d love to hear from you! DM me your birth month and I’ll send you my package info 💜
