I have a number of patients heading into transfers at the moment.

So thought I would share this with you too.

Nitric oxide rich foods can help support blood flow and a healthy uterine lining to help with implantation.

These include beetroot, leafy greens, citrus fruits, watermelon, pomegranate, nuts and seeds and dark chocolate (yum!).

Foods to avoid are those high in AGE’s (Advanced Glycation End products) which have been shown to negatively impact implantation.

These foods include browned/grilled meats, soft drinks, sugar and aged foods.

Are you preparing for a transfer?

Ozempic is one of the most recognised names in a class of drugs known as GLP-1 agonists. Whilst it was developed as a drug for diabetes, not fertility, it has gained popularity in fertility circles for its role in assisting weight loss, which may indirectly assist in pregnancy outcomes.

But can it actually improve your chances of conceiving? Or does it come with hidden risks you need to know about?

In this episode of the Conceive Baby Podcast, my fabulous colleague Wendy Burke joins me to cut through the hype and break down

💚 How Ozempic actually works
💚 What the latest research says about its role in reproductive health
💚 Important steps to take if you're thinking about using it as part of your fertility plan.

Loads of fun chatting with Will and Woody on their KIIS FM drive show tonight!

Woody’s wife is currently pregnant and Woody is wearing at 12kg belly this week to support her.

I had the pleasure of being invited to chat with him about all the food he should include AND avoid!

Made for some fun listening, picking apart his diet (including a BBQ’d belly incident!)😂

Love your work 💞

Tune into to follow along with Woody’s pregnancy this week!

In this episode of the Conceive Baby podcast, I had the pleasure of speaking with Jon and Laura Summers, the powerhouse couple behind Infertility Man.

Jon and Laura’s journey through infertility has been one of resilience, hope, and a shared commitment to helping others. After Jon’s battle with testicular cancer, he was told he could never father a biological child. Together, he and Laura embarked on a challenging fertility journey—27 egg retrievals, two surgeries, thousands of injections—and, against all odds, welcomed their daughter in 2021.

In this personal, proactive and practical discussion we talk through the emotionally tumultuous 'two-week wait'. We discuss how couples can navigate their way through this challenging phase, maintain their mental health, and nurture relationships amid the anxiety and uncertainty.

John and Laura bring their personal journey to the forefront, offering a unique and deeply personal perspective filled with resilience and hope, whilst also offering practical strategies to help you.

We talk about proactive strategies, such as focused distractions, planned communication, and supportive companionship. Jon and Laura bring to light the importance of selecting a supportive network and having open, blame-free communication between partners.

John and Laura also open up about the emotional toll of their infertility journey and share their insights to help support you on your journey.
