I had a moment recently where something clicked. A sneaky emotional pattern that had been holding me back finally came into the light… and I literally felt this wave of relief and release wash over me.

“Sacrifice today for what you want or what you want becomes the sacrifice.”
A quote my business coach Shani shared -and OMG it hit me straight in the soul. She may not realise I needed that personal kick up the arse🤣

Because the truth is:
I’ve lost 25 kilos.
Yup! twenty-five. Through deep emotional healing, mindset work, and commitment.

But the last 3 months?
I stalled.

I had injuries. Life happened. I stopped moving.
And little by little, I was showing up for everyone else but stopped showing up for me.

I told myself all the usual things:
“I’ll get back into it Monday.”
“I need to feel better first.”
“I’ve just got too much on right now.”

But when I read that quote again-
“Sacrifice today for what you want…”
I realised I’d been sacrificing ME. And I’m done with that.

So today, Sunday (not Monday!)
I made the decision to move.
I laced up. Got in the car. Headed to the gym. and found out my membership wasn’t valid there anymore. 🙃

Honestly? That couid have derailed me.

But today? Nope.

💥 I got back in the car and drove straight to another gym.
💥 Because I’m not waiting for perfect.
💥 Because I’ve already lost 25 kilos and I’m not about to lose myself again.

Do I have the “perfect body”? Nope.
Am I still technically overweight? Yep.
So how on earth can I help you lose weight?

Here’s how👇

Because I understand what it is like to feel stuck. I have suffered with 100% being trapped in binge eating, self-sabotage, and emotional numbing through food.

Since a teenager I have battled the diet culture demons, losing only to gain the weight back again. We have all been there right ?
After decades of studying nutrition along with mindset tools I have learnt weight loss it is not just about the calories in V’s calories out, but we need to look at the mind, body, and soul rewiring to succeed.

I know how freeing it can be to walk past the fridge without needing a pep talk or a guilt trip.

I used to eat to shut down emotions.
Now I eat to fuel my body and feel my emotions, not fear them.

I am not perfect though!
And you know what?
That doesn’t make me a fraud
It makes me powerful
Because I get it!
Even yesterday, I noticed myself chewing hard, fast, angry even - when I noticed my actions I realised I wasn’t hungry, I had been triggered.
That kind of awareness? That’s the stuff that changes everything.

Things I did NOT do to lose weight fast and feel amazing:

👉🏼 Replace real food with shakes – I wanted real, satisfying meals, not artificial replacements that leave you starving.

👉🏼 Inject myself with chemicals causing side effects – No thanks. I found a natural way to reset my body without harming it.

👉🏼 Rely on willpower – Willpower runs out. I used mindset shifts that made cravings disappear without feeling deprived. I also found a natural physical method to support willpower, so I wasn’t fighting against myself.

👉🏼 Spend hours in the gym – I didn’t have time for that. I focused on strategic, effortless ways to reset my body instead.

👉🏼 Eat ‘diet’ foods – No bland salads or cardboard crackers. I ate delicious, satisfying meals that fueled real weight loss.

👉🏼 Let emotions control my eating – I rewired my mind to stop using food as comfort, so I no longer needed it to ‘cope.’

👉🏼 Wait for the ‘perfect time’ – There’s no perfect time. I decided I was done with the excuses and took action now. I also didn’t have to do it alone—having support made all the difference.
