I don’t usually do the copy paste thing but in this case, I have been working more with people and families in this situation and it is as real as it gets. Please read below.

Robin Williams took his own life because he was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia.
Bruce Willis just learned that his illness is Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) and Lewy Body Dementia.
One of the hardest things to process is the slow change in the one you love. Becoming a completely different person. Everything changes.
Just so you know...😢 It’s called the long goodbye. Rapidly shrinking brain is how a doctor described it.
As the patient's brain slowly dies, they change physically and eventually forget who their loved ones are and become less themselves.
Patients can eventually become bedridden, unable to move and unable to eat or drink or talk to their loved ones.
There will be people who will scroll by this message because Alzheimer's or other forms of Dementia has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who has fought or is fighting a battle against Alzheimer's or other kinds of Dementia (the umbrella term for more than 200 different types).
In an effort to raise awareness of this cruel disease, I would like to see at least 5 of my friends put this on their timeline.
I'll settle for at least one person posting DONE!!! COPY & PASTE.
Thank you
💚

"A wide range of conditions in the places where children live, grow, play, and learn can get “under the skin” and affect their developing brains and other biological systems. Rapidly advancing science around early childhood development provides increasingly clear evidence that, beginning before birth, these environmental conditions shape how children develop, which shapes their lifelong physical and mental health, in turn."

Consultation on a proposed new model to regulate NDIS providers and workers is closing on 28 April.

The proposed model will:

· improve the way NDIS providers and workers are regulated
· ensure NDIS participants get safe and quality supports
· give people with disability the right to choose, and have control over the supports and services they get.

Your views will help shape the model.

To have your say, go to https://engage.dss.gov.au/ndis-provider-and-worker-registration-taskforce

This is amazing and there could easily be a few Noel’s around Wagga who could make this their job. I would definitely pay $3 a week to have this job done. Support worker is doing an amazing job, supporting this man to have purpose in his life.

I have decided to add a pop-up sensory online shop (with free home delivery in Tumut NSW) for the remainder of the year; when the pressure of the festive season begins, stress levels increase, and the risk of emotional distress increases.

About Us

Riverina Family Services (RFS) was established in 2018. We recognised there was a need in the Riverina & wider community to deliver quality support services for individuals, children & families. RFS will ensure that all clients feel safe & secure in their interactions with the service, so they can concentrate on the purpose why they engaged our service.

Our team is able to deliver all aspects of parenting support, training and mentoring & support individuals and their caregivers who have an NDIS package meet their individual goals & life dreams.

Riverina Family Services (RFS) work with families to encourage positive interaction between children and their parents and to support the strengthening of these relationships. The fact is, parents and children can be separated for a variety of reasons. Separation brings difficulties and many mixed emotions.

Riverina Family Services recognise that parents find the presence of service providers in their life stressful and challenging. However, the overall aim of RFS is to assist you and your child to strengthen & build your relationship.
