Mitch Broome has tonight been crowned the new Victorian AWSR Wingless Sprints Champion!

Broome finished atop the 20 car A Main Field after securing the lead on lap 20 and locking it down from there.

Broome finished ahead of young Victorians Chris Temby and Blake Walsh who charged hard from deep in the field.

Defending champion Travis Millar would go out with a gallant effort finishing up in fourth with TOPSIDE Tony Moule making up the top five.

The format will be 3 rounds of heats (edit: now 2) and features. 45 nominations from 5 states, it’s going to be tough racing!

After a fuel pump died whilst leading a feature at Laang last weekend, we are hopeful of a better run tonight and a little bit of lady luck!
