In 2023 we were given the opportunity to support a housing project in Cambodia called Volunteer Building Cambodia - VBC in conjunction with Central Coast Grammar School. Two years on, the house is occupied by Buk Penh, Hul Peanh and their 3 year old son Peanh Sorpanha.

Prior to the house being built, the family lived in a small shack made of bamboo wrapped in a plastic tarp, with a palm leaf roof.

The new house has provided security, the ability to plant and grow crops, and better health outcomes with the couple now able to further expand their family. It has become a beacon of hope, resilience and the power of kindness.

“The family expresses profound gratitude for the donors and the team of volunteers who were involved in changing their lives forever. The house provided with protection and safety they needed to thrive. They wish good luck, long life and much success in the lives of every person who took part in this marvelous endeavour.”

❤️ Central Coast resident Ray Hildridge recently became a World Record holder - the longest-surviving quadruple bypass surgery patient in the world.

Having received the bypass back in 1982 at the young age of 34, Ray has survived over 42 years and is now under the care of Gosford Private Heart Centre and Cardiologist, Dr Brendan Gunalingam.
