On this Anzac Day we'd like to pay tribute to one of our clients Glenn.
Glenn is 77 years old and living at home with the great support of his family and a team of services.
Glenn commenced in the Royal Australian Navy at the age of 16 and served until the age of 24. While on the HMAS Vendetta Glenn served in Vietnam at the age of 19, he was also involved in several rescues- Hong Kong landslides, barge sinking off Jervis Bay and a submarine grounding in Queensland. Glenn then joined the Army reserves at the age of 30 and was involved in the rescues at the Granville train disaster in 1977. He was awarded the Queens commendation for bravery and the NSW state medal.
Thank you Glenn for your service and bravery, it is our privilege to assist you with various assistive technology and home modifications.
