LAST WEEK TO DONATE TO OUR HARRY💚
We have a collection tin in the clinic for cash donations this week.

Harry is six years old and one very strong-minded, compassionate boy – according to his mother Kara Rendell.
Kara and Harry’s dad, Nick, run their own physio practice in the small community town on the Yorke Peninsula in rural South Australia.
Recently, like everyone else, Harry has been following ultra marathon athlete and social media star Nedd Brockman. He absolutely loves watching the Instagram stories of his "uncomfortable challenges” online.
"Harry loves Nedd and what he does to raise money so one day he said, ‘You and dad help people... can I run to help people too?’.
Harry has always been active but this time, he started a training program and shared one of his runs with Nedd himself on social media.
“Harry was ecstatic when we got a reply which simply said, “what a little weapon!!!” with two muscle arm emojis.”
"We also thought the timing was perfect as November is Stride4Stroke month and we help many stroke patients with their recovery at our practice,” Kara said.
Stride4Stroke is Stroke Foundation’s major annual fundraiser and sees participants set an activity goal to increase their daily moving minutes to lower their own stroke risk, all while fundraising to prevent stroke, fund vital research and support survivors of stroke and their families through their recovery journey.
“Nick’s uncle also had a pretty severe stroke a few years back, so we decided to book a flight to Melbourne to run the 2XU Wellness 5km run in St Kilda on December 1 – a goal Harry’s been working towards.”
“He ran 3.5km today without stopping and received loads of donations afterwards so he is very happy!”
Harry is leading the charge with Team RUNNEZ – a running group based in Melbourne where he participates remotely.
RUNNEZ originally set a goal to raise $1,000 but they've already exceeded expectations, thanks to Harry’s efforts, having raised over $1,400 to date.
Stroke Foundation Chief Executive Officer, Dr Lisa Murphy, commended young Harry and his running group for taking part in the challenge.
“Harry is setting such a great example in his remote community and his determination and intention is admirable - I’m sure his family are very proud,” Dr Murphy said.
