Reflection, Collaboration, and the Future of Support at Home 🀝

What an incredible day at the Swansea RSL for the Support at Home Summit 2026

With the new reforms officially three months in...
..the energy in the room was a testament to the dedication of our local Aged Care providers

We all know that it has not been easy...
..for participants, families or providers πŸ’•

We dove deep into:

βœ… Real-world operational challenges from the first 90 days

βœ… Direct insights from the Department and Assessors

βœ… Practical strategies tailored to the Central Coast and Hunter regions

A massive thank you to our speakers and the providers from across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and the Central Coast who joined the conversation

Transitioning to a new model isn’t easy...
..but navigating it together makes it a lot better 😊

Proudly hosted by Community Therapy and Aidacare

What is a Support Plan Review (SPR)? πŸ€”
..it is a request for a review because an aged care participant's needs have changed
..and they need a change to their ongoing Support at Home classification
..or a change to their Assistive Technology or Home Modifications budget
..and other things

If you have questions in this space, reach out to your registered aged care provider

Our allied health team can assist with evidence required for a SPR!
