Sometimes anxiety can make you feel as though something is wrong with you.
But anxiety is not a personal failure.
It is not weakness.
It is not who you are.
Often, anxiety is your mind and body saying,
“I don’t feel safe right now.”
Your nervous system may be carrying old stress, unprocessed emotions, fear, pressure, or overwhelm. And when too much builds up inside, the body begins to speak.
It may show up as:
👉A racing mind
👉Tightness in the chest
👉A heavy feeling in the tummy
👉Difficulty sleeping
👉Irritability
👉Overthinking
👉Feeling out of control
👉Wanting to escape from everything
But beautiful soul, healing begins when you stop fighting yourself and begin listening with compassion.
Instead of asking,
“What is wrong with me?”
Try gently asking,
“What part of me needs comfort right now?”
Today, place one hand on your heart and one hand on your tummy. Take a slow breath in through your nose, and gently breathe out through your mouth.
Then say softly:
👉“I am safe in this moment.
👉I do not have to fix everything today.
👉I can take one gentle step at a time.”
Healing does not happen by forcing yourself to be calm.
It begins by teaching your body that it is safe to soften.
