When Eva turned one, her mum Vikki started an Instagram page to raise awareness and help people understand spina bifida and hydrocephalus.

She shares Eva’s journey to offer connection and encouragement to other families.

Representation matters. Eva receiving a Barbie in a wheelchair alongside her own mobility aid is a reminder of how important inclusion is in everyday life.

Eva’s journey with spina bifida and hydrocephalus began at birth. Despite multiple surgeries and ongoing challenges, her resilience stands out. Her Kidevo Mini T wheelchair has opened new opportunities for independence.

“It has given her so much more independence,” says her mum, Vikki. “She loves being able to move around on her own and proudly shows off her mermaid wheels to everyone.”

Our last education session was full of hands-on learning, practical scripting tips, and great conversations with other clinicians.

We’re doing it all again on Tuesday 12th August, this time with Oscar Furniture and presenter Jennifer Hallinan.

There’ll be a light lunch, goodie bags (we’ve got some new, exciting merch), and a CPD certificate for 3 hours.
