🤝 Honored to represent our Federation at the COSP to help amplify the voices of our members, learn together with our partners, and continue to work together to help build a world where everyone belongs.

This annual meeting among governments, organizations, and advocates happens because of an UN human rights agreement affirmed by almost every country in the world . 🌍 Much progress has happened - and more work to be done!

✨ We're excited to share that next week, L'Arche will travel to the United Nations in New York City to participate in the world's largest meeting on inclusion and the rights of people with disabilities - the 18th Session of the Conference of States Parties to the CRPD (COSP18)! 🌍

Delegates from L'Arche in Spain, Mexico, Argentina & the U.S., will meet with representatives and partners from around the world. They'll share experiences and learnings and discuss how we can work together for a transformed society - a world of dignity, rights, opportunities, and community - a world where everyone belongs.

✨ Nous sommes ravis d'annoncer que, la semaine prochaine, L’Arche se rendra aux Nations Unies à New York pour participer à la plus grande rencontre mondiale sur les droits et l’inclusion des personnes en situation de handicap – la 18e session de la Conférence des États parties à la CDPH (COSP18) ! 🌍

Des délégués de L’Arche venant d’Espagne, du Mexique, d’Argentine et des États-Unis rencontreront des représentants et partenaires du monde entier. We are delighted to share the exciting news that Kevin Bourke has been appointed as the new Community Leader for L’Arche Bendigo. Kevin stepped into the role on the 26th May 2025, bringing with him a deep commitment to our mission and values.

As Community Leader, Kevin will play a key role in nurturing our shared life together, strengthening mutual relationships, and fostering a spirit of inclusion and belonging. His leadership marks a new chapter for our community, and we are eager to walk this path alongside him.

It is with great pleasure that we announce Mel La Brooy as the new Community Leader for L’Arche Melbourne. Mel officially began in his role on 19th May 2025.

We warmly welcome Mel into this vital role and look forward to the journey ahead. As Community Leader, Mel will guide and support our community in continuing to share life, grow in mutual relationships, and live out the core values of L’Arche.
