Welcome Dr Samantha Dowling

7Springs Medical Practice is delighted to welcome Dr Samantha Dowling to our team of registrars in 2025.

Samantha grew up in North Queensland and began her career as a veterinarian, completing a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2007 at the University of Queensland. Inspired to expand her medical skills, she went on to complete a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery in 2013, also at UQ.

Her early medical career included an internship and resident years at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, followed by six years in Orthopaedics across hospitals in Southeast Queensland and Victoria. Samantha has now chosen to pursue a career in General Practice, where she brings her wide-ranging clinical experience and dedication to patient care.

Outside of medicine, Samantha is a busy mum who enjoys gardening, painting, and horse riding. She has a broad interest in all aspects of General Practice and looks forward to caring for patients in our community.
