After a bilateral knee replacement, without targeted rehab, strength and balance decline can significantly increase fall risk. Ray is now working on improving his balance, coordination, and muscle strength to reduce falls at home and rebuild his independence!

Sitting for 10+ hours a day is linked to a 34% higher risk of a shorter life, and Australians over 65 sit for an average of 9 hours...

After retirement, structured movement disappears. And most people don't notice until it's too late...

After 50, staying active isn't just about fitness. It's about staying stronger, for longer.

Some days, showing up looks different. And that's okay. Greg is currently undergoing radiation treatment for prostate cancer and he's still here, every week, working with our allied health team to keep his body moving safely through it.

We've de-loaded his program, met him where he's at, and adjusted every step of the way.

Because healthy ageing isn't a straight line and we're not here for you only when things are going well. We're here for all of it.

Whatever you're facing, you don't have to navigate it alone.

We just had our largest turnout yet of 65 members for our Muscle is Medicine education session at Club Active Castle Hill — and we couldn't be prouder! This is what we're here for. Not just training, but also to teach our members why what they're doing works, and how to use it to live better for longer!

Building muscle isn’t just to lift heavier. It’s one of the most powerful ways to support heart health, metabolism, and healthy LDL cholesterol.

Research shows resistance training can reduce LDL and improve key cardiovascular risk markers.

Train for more than strength. Train for your future. Change the way you age.

This ANZAC Day, we pause to honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of our veterans. We are deeply proud to be approaching our 10th year of supporting veterans through Club Active’s Veterans Health Program, helping improve health, strength, and quality of life. Lest we forget.

Changing the way you age doesn’t happen overnight.

It starts with a decision to show up for your health, every day.

Because real change isn’t instant, it’s built through consistent effort.

That's how you redefine your next chapter in life.

Together, we're changing the way we age. Safely, effectively, and never alone.

Michael was told walking would be difficult after his stroke.

Confidence was gone. Direction was unclear.

But he didn’t accept that as his future.

Step by step, he showed up. Guided. Supported. Consistent.

Now he moves with confidence, 10kg down, and 11 years younger in his wellness age.

This isn’t luck, it’s what happens when you commit to changing the way you age.

"I realised — as you get older, things start degenerating. So I decided to do something about it."

Jan didn't come to Club Active because she wanted to get fit.

She came because she wanted to stay herself.

After surgery, stress, and time away from exercise, Jan says the moment she came back to movement it felt like a pressure valve released.

Now her bone density has improved. Her strength is back. And she's keeping up with all her grandkids (she's got a lot of them 😄).

But more than the physical changes, Jan says exercise gave her something she wasn't expecting.

"I've benefited both physically and mentally."

That's what changing the way you age looks like.

Not a number on a scale. Not a before and after photo. It's about feeling and moving your best in your best chapter of life yet.

1 in 3 Australians over 65 will fall this year. Most had no warning signs.

Balance doesn't just disappear overnight. It slowly declines year by year until one day it isn't there when you need it.

Strength training, balance work, and the right clinical guidance can reverse that decline at any age.

By working one-on-one with our physiotherapists on the reformer, we help you rebuild strength, improve balance, and move with confidence again — so you can keep doing the things you love without hesitation.
