A former Overland adventurer and subsequent African Overland Expedition Leader/Driver during the 80s and early 90s, I initially came across Demal200 whilst working in the mining industry in Indonesia. I'd had malaria before (vivax) whilst in Africa and, although the risk in Indo was lower, didn't want it again. Mindful of the accruing side effects of long term prophylaxis use (chloroquine and palwudrine) someone suggested Demal200 which was made available to me from a small medical practise in Jakarta. Taking it as directed it took a couple of hours to purge the 'old malaria' from my liver after which I felt quite tired though rather hungry: slept well for the first time in ages too. A few days later I felt fantastic. It was if a heavy backpack had been lifted from my shoulders; more energy; clearer thought processes; even my eyesight seemed better: my body knew i'd done something 'right' for it for once.. On returning to the UK from Indonesia after the SEAsian financial crisis of '98-'99 I started BlueTurtle with a view to publicise and distribute Demal200 to those who I knew would appreciate it. Starting with Overland companies and camps in Africa, knowledge and appreciation of the power and merit of Demal200 has spread widely. In recognition of the dangers and widespread nature of Dengue Fever and on the back of the success of Demal200 Blue Turtle now distributes Dembarah200 along with several other remedies for tropical and chronic diseases. Blue Turtle is now in full partnership with the founders of Demal200 and Dembarah200 and who wish to remain anonymous for security reasons. Suffice it to say over 1200 individual remedies are in production and available exclusively through BlueTurtle Remedial Sciences...

Sloth Fever is on the march from Central America and the Caribbean, but what is it? The Oropouche virus (aka Sloth Fever) is, like Zika and WNV, another cousin of the arbovirus which causes Dengue Fever.

The Oropouche virus, which some media outlets are calling a "sloth virus," has been seen in European travelers returning home from the Americas.

West Nile Virus is an arbovirus of the same family which causes Dengue Fever. They are spread by the common house (Culex) mosquito: symptoms are broadly similar though WNV is more neuroinvasive. Whilst plasma and platelet transfusions help with acute/critical stage Dengue Fever, there is no conventional treatment for WNV

Cases of West Nile virus, a mosquito-borne illness, have been reported across the U.S. It's the leading cause of mosquito-borne disease in the continental U.S., according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). "We are currently seeing high levels of West Nile virus infection across...

Dengue fever is endemic in all the tropics and is on the rise. Going on holiday to somewhere special? do a little background research before you go.

Dengue, also known as breakbone fever, is spread through the bites of mosquitoes common throughout much of the United States.
