Our aim is to increase your flexibility and balance, improve your core abdominal strength and add tone to your body. It is also important to make you aware of any postural imperfections you may have and work together towards correcting them. STOTT PILATES is suitable for both male and female clients of all ages and is a great way to protect and strengthen your body as you progress towards your “mature” years. In all classes emphasis is placed on stabilising the spine, while increasing strength and tone, mobility, balance and co-ordination, all of which help you to achieve optimal fitness for everyday life. And of course, the classes are fun, friendly and enjoyable! Instructor Profile: Alison started Pilates over 14 years ago following the birth of her first child, as a way to protect and strengthen her back (which she hurt simply by lifting her baby out of his bath). Alison found Pilates to be an enjoyable form of exercise and has been a dedicated follower ever since. She qualified as a STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor in January 2009, a total Barre Qualified Instructor in November 2014 and continues to re-certify each year.

Recently we celebrated 14 years of Pilates Matters Studio. I'd like to thank all my wonderful clients for their support over this time and congratulate Sylvia on 5 years of Pilates.

I've completed the requirements for my 5th Specialty Track certificate! I'm now recognised as a specialist in Post Rehab, Athletic, Dance, Active for Life and Group Mat.

I've been practicing Pilates for 25 years and qualified as an Instructor for over 15 years. That's a lot of 'hundreds' !

Last night we celebrated 13 years of Pilates Matters Studio. Thank you to all my wonderful clients for their support, congratulations to Louise on her 5 years of attendance and many thanks to our waiters!
