Thank you to Sustainable Macleod Community Garden sustainablemacleod.org.au
We love being part of the Macleod community and our location Macleod Village
During December the thoughtful folks at Sustainable Macleod gave our team and some local shops some tomatoes seedlings.
This is such a lovely and thoughtful gift. We have 10 team members and received 6-8 seedlings so the fun and competition started early. It was first in best dressed for grabbing a seedling.
Our clinic director Marnie is not known for her gardening skills but seeing the results is keen to get involved next year.
Our clever gardener Catherine has suggested swapping seeds to try different varieties next year.
Katie wins our award for the biggest plant she has affectionately called the monster tomato plant. After planting her seedling in a sunny spot in her garden.
Leoni had success but was surprised to find the tomatoes were black and found the new variety interesting and tasty!
Monica at the time of writing this had only produced 2 tomatoes so next time you see her ask if a few more have come since.
Perhaps there are a couple of other osteopaths on our team who did not take a plant or perhaps the seedling did not survive!
In our next post we'll share some more pics of how each seedling went!
Thanks again to Sustainable Macleod for this gift. I think our clinic tomato growing competition will be on again at Your Body Osteo next summer!
