A well-established Project Management Tool can mean the difference between the life and death of a project.
A client of mine recently had a staff member leave suddenly after working on a project for 4.5 years, just 5 months before the project completion date. The project completion requires the development and delivery of a rich product suite of practical information, resources and tools for a community in need.
I had 3 days 'handover' with the ruly gifted, industry-expert exiting staff member.
Thankfully I have been implementing Asana: the astonishingly effective Project Management tool for FREE! in their organisation, and therefore we could spend those 3 days creating detailed Actions plans from the scaffolding she had already done.
A crisis averted! The tool is not able to capture the industry knowledge and experience that has evolved with this staff member over the last 4.5 years, but it was able to guide me in continuing driving the project forward, without disruption, while I find a suitable replacement to hire to fill the knowlege gaps required for this project.
Asana is an incredible Project Management tool that I harness to drive and deliver the Strategic Plans, Objectives and Visions of the organisations I work with.
