A cold, wintery start was no deterrent for Geelong Hader Clinic clients in attending their group session yesterday.
The session focus - nervous system awareness and body signal tracking to support optimal mental health and well-being.

Annabel is a Registered Counsellor/ Equine Assisted Therapist who has recently partnered with the EquiHuman Mental Health team! 🎉

Annabel operates under her own business name, 'Field of Healing,' and is currently accepting new referrals on a fortnightly basis.

EquiHuman Mental Health is very excited to announce its recent partnership with Hader Clinic Geelong, offering group Equine Therapy support to Hader's Department of Veteran Affairs clients and community clients.

As a specialised mental health and addictions inpatient rehab centre, it is a great honour and privilege to work alongside individuals on their recovery journeys.

It has been 3 years in the making since EquiHuman Mental Health was first established, and what a journey it has been. Beginning with a wild dream, driven by passion and determination to transform that dream into reality, EquiHuman Mental Health has continuously evolved across the years to attain the vision of bringing people and horses together to support awareness development, positive change, and personal growth towards rewarding and fulfilling lives.

This career pursuit has been none other the most challenging and ambitious endeavour sought for, demanding me to constantly reach beyond my comfort zone, embrace the unknown, face my greatest fears, and accept the unavoidable risk and unpredictability that life presents. Ironically, despite all the hardships and overcoming endured to achieve the business where it is today, there exists not one single regret. Instead, this journey has been abundantly rich with joy and gratitude, and has taught me my greatest life lessons that has advanced me along my own road of personal self-development.

EquiHuman Mental Health has recently encountered a barrier to offering service provision causing disruptions to practicing capacity. In light of this, EquiHuman Mental Health would like to formally announce its decision to undergo a temporary business closure at the end of the year until further notice.

Whilst an exceptionally difficult decision in the immediate, this decision will serve to benefit the community in the long-term by creating the space necessary to return the business in a newfound capacity. This will include a rebranding to the business name and image, increased availability to diversified therapeutic approaches and modalities, and accessibility to varied funding streams.

As we step into 2025, I wish to say a wholehearted thank you to everyone who has continued to extend their support over the years, and look forward to sharing with you all the exciting opportunities that lay on the horizon for the future.

Hello, it's me, Rachael, the face behind EquiHuman Mental Health.

It's been a little quiet on the social media front so I thought it was time for a shout out.

As a solely operated practice, time is always a precious commodity. Horses have unique needs that require daily attention to satisfy to ensure they remain happy and healthy.

Without happy and healthy horses there simply is no Equine Therapy.

So whilst social media highlights have been absent, rest assured there is a constant hum of energy behind scenes working hard daily to support the EquiHuman Herd to bring a transformative, therapeutic space to the Greater Geelong Community.

Whilst the demand to juggle it all is great, the reward of sharing this special herd with others and seeing the meaningful impact had on lives is so much greater. It truly makes every moment of effort worth it.
