Weโ€™ve been bowled over. ๐Ÿ˜œ

Four Thursdays. Dozens of legends. One very good cause.

Barefoot Bowls at Wangaratta Bowls Club brought the community together and raised an amazing $1,407.10 for Project 365. ๐Ÿ’›

From friendly banter to serious (and we mean serious) competition, it was four weeks of laughs, connection, and a whole lot of good.

Same time next year?

Showing up can mean everything to someone.

Living and working in the North East, you become part of something bigger. Itโ€™s the way people in small towns support each other. ๐Ÿ’›

There are a few local opportunities to do exactly that:

What a night on the green! ๐Ÿ’š

The Wangaratta Bowls Club recently hosted the Barefoot Bowls Charity Challenge, bringing together local businesses, community groups and mates for a bit of friendly competition, a BBQ and a drink or two.

Teams of three hit the green and, even better, each team got to nominate which of the four local organisations they wanted to support, including 365. How good is that?

Community spirit, a few laughs and real dollars going back into local causes. Weโ€™re so grateful to be part of it. ๐Ÿ’›

More than 20 locals were lucky enough to participate in our Mental Health Scholarship program ๐Ÿ’™

Wangaratta and North East Victoria business leaders spent two days learning practical ways to recognise mental health warning signs and have better conversations at work.

Our Mental Health Scholarships will be back in the new year.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Follow us to stay up to date with the next intake!

We're so grateful for the support of local businesses who believe in what we do and help us share the message further. ๐Ÿ’™

A big thank you to our good friends, Propel Digital for supporting Project 365 Wangaratta 'U Can Cry' and helping us strengthen our digital presence.

Partnerships like this help us share our message, connect with more people, and keep the conversation around mental health moving forward.

Next Thursday plans? Sorted. ๐Ÿ’™

The Charity Bowls Challenge kicks off Thursday 19 February at 6.15pm (registrations from 5.45pm) and runs across four relaxed Thursday nights.

Teams of three, $10 per player each week, BBQ included, with two games per night. Best of all, your team can choose which of the four local organisations youโ€™d like to support.

Tag the mates you've been meaning catch up with and lock in a good night out that gives back.

Community leaders in arenโ€™t just leaders in their field, they lead in so many ways. Every day, theyโ€™re in a position to positively impact someoneโ€™s mental health, especially when they have the right tools and understanding. Thatโ€™s why the Mental Health First Aid Scholarship matters.

Strong local leaders donโ€™t just guide teams at work, they support people through lifeโ€™s tougher moments too.๐Ÿ’™

At Project 365, we are encouraging Wangaratta leaders to stay informed, keep learning, and create space for open conversations, so our community is better prepared to face mental health challenges as part of everyday work and life.

Because hard conversations save lives.

One thing we learnt at Mental Health First Aid training is that a conversation does not need to end when someone says they are not ready to seek help.

A simple question like โ€œIs there a reason why?โ€ can open the door a little wider.
It can help you understand what they are feeling, what might be holding them back, and whether there are fears or misconceptions you can gently talk through together.

Sometimes support looks like listening without judgement and keeping the conversation going.
Small moments like this can make a big difference. ๐Ÿ’™

Grab your mates and join us for the Charity Bowls Challenge this February and March. ๐Ÿ’™

The competition kicks off on Thursday 19 February at 6.15pm (registrations from 5.45pm) and runs for 4 weeks.

Teams of three, $10 per player per night, BBQ included, with two games played each evening. Best of all, teams can nominate which of the four participating organisations they would like to support, including us!

So tag your mates or work crew in the comments and lock this one in.
What a great excuse to get together and do some good while you are at it!

Creating change starts with one conversation. ๐Ÿ’ฌ

At Project 365, we believe that real change begins when people come together to talk, to listen, and to look out for one another.
Through music, community and conversation, we are breaking down the stigma around mental health and helping people feel safe to reach out for support.

If you would like to learn more about Project 365 or get involved, visit our website, message us here, or say hello when you see us around town. We would love to chat. ๐Ÿ’™

2025 gave us so much to be proud of.

๐ŸŽถ 3,000+ people at Avian Park for Bringing Light to the Dark.
๐Ÿ•บ A Gala Ball that raised more than $72k.
๐Ÿ“š Another full round of Mental Health First Aid Scholarships for our community.

In 2026 we will see a dedicated Mental Health Round in the Ovens and Murray AFL League, and we cannot wait to bring this message to even more people. ๐Ÿ‰

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, volunteered with us and believed in us. We couldn't do any of this without you. ๐Ÿ’™
