This week I took my last two Les Mills BodyPump classes ever - it’s been almost 19 years since my first class with Release 59 & some of the dedicated, loyal members at Voyage have been with me in those classes for the entire journey. I have absolutely loved every minute of instructing pump classes. I have made lots of really good friends & mentored some good pump instructors along the way. I am proud of what I have achieved and have truly enjoyed inspiring people along the way. It was a huge decision and I’m not quite sure who I am if I’m not a pump instructor!! But it is the right call for me in this time & I thank everyone who has ever attended one of my pump classes.

For some of us though, it might not feel like this. For some, you might not feel anything, you might not be able to tell if you are switching those muscles on OR it could feel like you’re pushing down. If this is you, I recommend seeing a physio who specializes in women’s health .issell.physio. I can also help by setting a tailored program which will help you focus on activating and strengthening the pelvic floor.

The thing I love about edamame beans is that they are such a quick & easy addition to a meal for myself & my little ones or a great quick snack that gives so much with little to no preparation time.

What’s more, about 1/3 of the calories come from protein, with an 1/3 from carbs and 1/3 from fats. And they taste great!!

Doesn’t get more balanced!

INGREDIENTS: 500g chicken mince1 zucchini grated1 carrot grated1 onion diced1 egg1 cup breadcrumbs1 tablespoon chicken b...

INGREDIENTS:

500g chicken mince
1 zucchini grated
1 carrot grated
1 onion diced
1 egg
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon chicken bone broth
Mixed herbs to taste

METHOD:

Preheat oven to 220 degrees fan forced. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Line baking tray with baking paper. Roll into balls & spray lightly with olive oil. Bake for 18 minutes.

I usually make a double batch & end up with approx 38-40 meatballs. Serve with rice & salad.

Great for the whole family & for bulk meal prep 👌🏼

Failure is simply an opportunity to try again. Giving up is worse than failure.
Having the courage to continue, or try again, that is the true strength in all we do, regardless of the outcome.

We’re taking a short break over the festive season but we’ll be back for Term one on 15 January.

Sessions will run at 2pm Mondays & 11am Wednesdays. All pre-school aged kids welcome!
