This new Louis Theroux documentary "Inside the Manosphere" takes a look inside the online “manosphere” and some of the damaging ideas being promoted by influencers.

For me, it was a reminder of how far removed this mindset is from the kind of true modern day masculinity we’re aiming to embody, one built on self-awareness, respect, vulnerability, and accountability, not resentment or dominance.

Worth a watch and very well put together.

An Invitation for all the Men in Our Community

This Thursday evening there is a live online workshop being hosted by the School of Total Education that may resonate with some of the men here. We gather and tune into a Zoom meeting and listen to guest speaker Richard Fay talk about "Pilgrimage, Masculine Soul, and the Road Less Travelled"

What an absolutely epic evening had around the fire this week, thank you to those who came and gave it energy 💙👊

This week, the term "vulnerability" came up, which could potentially be such a triggering concept couldnt it? But if we sat with it, vulnerability can lead to "reflection", and reflection combined with "accountability" and "action", i suspect, are the cornerstones of inner growth!

So im going to invite each of you over the coming fortnight to have the courage to be truly seen, to take your armour off, to speak the truth, and find as many opportunities as you can to be real with yourselves, with your loved ones, with your dreams, your goals, and be open to what you see reflected back at you.

Vulnerability ➡️ reflection ➡️ accountability ➡️ action = growth

Lets take a look at these 4 concepts and I invite you fine gentlemen on the 18th, 6pm, to discuss what it means for you, and share what weve found. 💙👊

Hey gents, just a reminder we’ve got our next Men’s Circle coming up this Wednesday evening, and it’s shaping up to be a really special one.

If we use a computer as a brief analogy, it has both software and hardware that need to work together for optimal functionality, and if the software is corrupted, the hardware doesn't function properly! Our bodies are similar, energetic, and physical, both needing to work together seamlessly..... So this fortnight we’re lucky to have two of our brothers who are Reiki Masters joining us to share what Reiki is, how it works, and what it can do for the body and nervous system. They’ll be bringing tables along and offering the men a chance to experience it firsthand in a safe, relaxed environment! What a privilege!

We’ll also be guided by Peter, who will be leading a talk on Stoicism, a timeless philosophy that helps men build inner strength, emotional regulation, and calm leadership in a world that can feel chaotic and demanding.

So whether you’re feeling stressed, carrying a heavy load, stuck in your head, or simply wanting a deeper connection with yourself and other men this week will be a powerful evening of learning and grounding

"Guilt"
Did you realise there was no word for "guilt" in Tibetan?

When the Dalai Lama was asked how to ease it through meditation,
his translators couldn’t even understand the question.

But every Western teacher in the room nodded —
they knew guilt well.

He paused and said gently,
“Ah… this must be a Western problem.”

What if guilt isn’t universal?
What if it’s something we learned ... not something we were born with?

Perhaps that’s something for us to sit with this week:
Where does our guilt come from..... love, conditioning, or culture? And what might it mean to lay it down, even for a night, join us this Wednesday around the fire.

Is strength found in vulnerability?

Imagine with me for a moment, if we all had the courage to be honest about what we feel.... to admit when we’re unsure.... or to share our struggles without shame?
Think of the ways our relationships would deepen, how our communities would grow stronger, how compassion would become the default, and how fear and judgment have no footing to gain traction?

Vulnerability isn’t weakness! It takes strength to show up, to be seen as you are, and to speak your truth. To not be ashamed because we are different!

This week I invite us all to unpack what vulnerability means to you? .......
