Home Away from Home Supports is a short term accommodation/respite home in the Inner West of Melbourne.

We support our participants to enjoy a break away from their normal lives to meet new friends, increase independence skills and achieve personal goals.

𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑩𝑰𝑮 𝑩𝑨𝑲𝑬 𝑶𝑭𝑭! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our Recreation Group participates in days of competitive fun, cooking up a storm. This time it was all about cooking skills and making cup cakes from scratch!

It was a hard decision to decide what was the most fun..... cooking, decorating or eating!

Everyone also got to take some home to share! 🧁🧁

Other activities that we will be exploring in the community include markets, movies, and mansions, as well as exhibitions, fitness and adventure activities.

Tuesday is all about our participants goals and interests, and building negotiation skills. From going out to lunch, enjoying local events, cooking, craft, fitness, playing games or exploring places we've never been - this is all about 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞.

Choice to decide and express opinions and ideas. That is what we are about. We aim to provide an environment where everyone gets to have a say in what we do.

Stepping out for nights filled with good food, great company, and plenty of laughs! Whether it is dinner and dancing or dinner and bowling we know the importance of getting out and being social. We regularly take our groups out to local restaurants and attractions that they love. Get in touch if you are interested in joining us!
