Wednesday is Travel Quest day โ€” and itโ€™s all about building confidence through travel!

From tapping on with a Myki, to finding the right platform or catching the correct bus, every small step helps build real-life independence. ๐Ÿ‘

Of course, travel doesnโ€™t always go to plan. Delays happen, platforms change, and sometimes we need to problem-solve on the go. With the support of our team, participants learn how to navigate these moments with confidence โ€” turning challenges into valuable life skills.

Weโ€™re so proud to see our group growing in confidence as they develop the skills to travel around Melbourne.

Today we recognise World Autism Awareness Day and celebrate the incredible strengths, talents and perspectives of autistic people in our community.

At Home Away From Home Supports, we are proud to support individuals and families by creating a safe, welcoming space where people can feel comfortable being themselves. Through our programs and STR services, we focus on building confidence, connection and opportunities for everyone to participate in the community in ways that work for them.

Autism is part of human diversity โ€” and when we embrace different ways of thinking, communicating and experiencing the world, our communities become stronger and more inclusive.

Today is a reminder to listen, learn and continue creating environments where autistic people feel valued, respected and supported every day.

The Thrive Tribe headed off on an adventure to St Kilda, enjoying a day out by the bay. The group stopped by the iconic entrance of Luna Park for a look (and a few photos!) before continuing their day exploring the area.

To top it all off, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch together โ€” the perfect way to finish a great day out.
