We are now offering KIDS CLUB AT SPEAK & DEVELOP!

This is a facilitated play and social communication group run by Speech Pathologists for children aged between 4-6 years old. The aim of this group is to develop children’s confidence to play with other children, take turns and improve their language use in a variety of play and social situations.

This group will run on ongoingly on a monthly basis.

🎉 It’s Phonological Friday 🎉
Ever heard your child say “poon” instead of “spoon”? This is called cluster reduction — when two consonants together (like “sp” in “spoon”) get simplified to just one.

💬✨While this error is typical part of speech development in young children, it usually resolves by around age 4. If it persists beyond that age, it may be worth chatting with a speech pathologist for additional support.
