Energised Body
Feeling Good All Over! It’s easy to forget the person you used to be...

All my treatments involve powerful yet non-invasive and gentle hands on techniques that focus not just on the symptoms, but on the person as a whole. They may reduce the need for orthotics, surgery, medication and pain relief. Treat

ments are based on the individual's ability to heal and accordingly, the results will vary. The body strives to heal itself to the best of its ability, and the treatments I offer may help the process. It is my aim to treat the individual, not just the ailment, and to assist the body in healing itself. As a health practitioner I endeavor to nurture well-being and support active life. Samassati Light Therapy

When energy flows through our bodies freely we are healthy and feel well. However, our emotions can deeply affect our energetic and physical wellbeing. For example, when we are emotionally hurt our bodily systems contract and close down, impairing processes such as digestion and the assimilation of experiences. If we sustain the negative feelings, these can obstruct the flow of bodily energy, which in turn can cause toxic build-up in the cells of our organs and muscles, resulting in physical dysfunction: dis-ease and finally disease. Treatments involve coloured light applied on or off the body, through the eyes and via acupuncture points, stimulating energy flow. Treatment times vary for this non-invasive therapy, and it is recommended to wear light-coloured, loose-fitting clothing.
$65 per hour. Helps with: • clearing toxins • pain relief • wound healing • vision impairment • chakra balancing • emotional balance • increasing energy levels • muscle & joint problems • supporting the immune system • balancing and coordination of major control systems in the body ... and much more. Foot Joint Mobilisation

By working on the bones of our feet we are working on the structure of our whole body. Foot Joint Mobilisation (FJM) uses a series of mobilisations to gently realign the bones of the feet, combined with a short series of exercises to be carried out daily at home. The upright body depends completely on the feet. If these are not strong and well-aligned, stresses and weakness are felt elsewhere in the body over time, negatively affecting our mobility. For example, misalignment's of the foot can cause the knee to rotate inwards, affecting the hip, which in turn affects the back, groin and stomach muscles and ultimately even the neck and shoulders. Two treatments per week are required over a 6/8 week period, and simple daily exercises to be carried out at home. Your investment is $45 per appointment. First Appointment $60

Helps with: • knee and hip pain • sciatica • swollen ankles • aching feet • shin splints • arthritis • back, neck and shoulder pain • most foot-related problems, including flat feet, bunions, recurrent corns, calluses, claw toes, hammer toes, and heel spurs. Hand Mobilisation

As relaxing and therapeutic as foot joint mobilisation, this therapy encourages freer movement and function of the hands and can assist with: • aching/swollen joints • disfigured joints • repetitive strain injury • nerve dysfunction • weakness/burning in hands • arthritis/rheumatoid arthritis.

$45 per appointment $60 for first appointment. Ear Candling

People are often amazed at the dramatic increase in auditory sensitivity after ear candling. Ear candling is used as a way to naturally clean the inside of the ear through the removal of old debris. It is a non-intrusive procedure that helps alleviate vertigo, ringing, heavy impacted plugs of wax and the effects of sinus problems.
$45

Quantum Touch Healing

Quantum Touch works with the body’s natural life force energy to develop optimal wellness. Combining breath work and hands-on healing, and through focus, amplification, intention and energy direction, Quantum Touch can relieve pain and bring a wide range of other benefits. Foot Massage
Our feet are so neglected! why not pamper them with a gentle combination of foot massage and reflexology. Extremely relaxing and highly recommended.45min appointment $60 per session. Or combine a hand and foot massage 20min each for the same price. Reiki
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy." A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. It has been effective in helping many illnesses and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. Sessions take approximately 1hr

THE CORTICAL MAPPING OF SOUND: FROM TONOTOPY TO MEANING

A Neurogeometric Account of How Vibration Becomes Interpretation

---

I. PROLOGUE: THE INVISIBLE ARCHITECTURE OF SOUND

Sound does not enter the brain as meaning. It arrives as motion—structured perturbations in air pressure that ripple outward, indifferent to interpretation. These موجات strike the tympanic membrane, initiating a cascade that is at once mechanical, electrical, and ultimately symbolic. What we call hearing is therefore not a passive reception, but a progressive transformation: vibration translated into neural code, and neural code into perceptual reality.

Before recognition, there is organization. Before language, there is structure. And before structure, there is mapping—a silent architecture upon which all auditory meaning depends.

---

II. THE PRIMITIVE GRID: TONOTOPY AS NEURAL GEOGRAPHY

At the foundation of auditory perception lies tonotopy, the systematic spatial ordering of sound frequency across the auditory system. This principle originates within the cochlea, where the basilar membrane functions as a biomechanical spectrum analyzer. Due to its graded stiffness and width, different regions resonate preferentially to different frequencies—high frequencies near the base, low frequencies toward the apex.

This mechanical gradient is not lost as signals ascend. It is preserved with remarkable fidelity through the auditory nerve, brainstem nuclei, and thalamic relays, ultimately projecting onto the primary auditory cortex (A1) as an ordered cortical map. In this sense, the brain contains a literal geography of sound—an axis of frequency embedded into neural tissue.

Yet tonotopy is not merely anatomical; it is dynamic. Experience, training, and environmental exposure continuously reshape these maps. The auditory cortex is not a static atlas, but a living topology, constantly refined by interaction with the acoustic world.

---

III. FROM FREQUENCY TO FEATURE: THE EMERGENCE OF MULTIDIMENSIONAL SOUND

While tonotopy provides the foundational axis, perception requires far richer representations. Natural sounds are rarely pure tones; they are complex assemblies of harmonics, transients, and modulations distributed across time and frequency.

To process such complexity, the auditory cortex constructs higher-order features. Neurons become selectively tuned not only to frequency, but to:

Temporal onset and offset

Amplitude modulation rates

Spectral envelopes and harmonic relationships

Directional and spatial cues

This transformation marks a critical transition: from a one-dimensional frequency map to a multidimensional feature space. Sound is no longer encoded as isolated frequencies, but as structured patterns—geometries unfolding across time-frequency coordinates.

In this space, similarity is relational rather than absolute. Two sounds may differ in frequency content yet converge in perceptual identity due to shared structural features. Thus, perception emerges not from raw input, but from relational encoding.

---

IV. TEMPORAL SYNTHESIS: PERCEIVING IN TIME

Audition is fundamentally temporal. Unlike vision, which can capture spatial configurations in near-instantaneous snapshots, sound must be integrated over duration. A phoneme, a rhythm, or a melody cannot exist in a single moment; it requires temporal extension.

The brain resolves this through temporal integration windows—dynamic processes that bind sequential acoustic events into coherent percepts. These windows allow discrete neural responses to be synthesized into continuity, enabling the perception of rhythm, speech, and musical phrasing.

Temporal binding is therefore not a secondary feature of hearing; it is central to its operation. Without it, sound would fragment into meaningless instants. With it, the brain constructs continuity from flux.

---

V. HIERARCHICAL ASCENT: FROM PATTERN TO MEANING

As auditory signals propagate beyond primary cortex into secondary and associative regions, representations become increasingly abstract and context-dependent. This progression can be understood as a hierarchical transformation:

Frequency → Feature → Pattern → Category → Meaning

At intermediate stages, the brain extracts recurring acoustic patterns—phonemes in speech, motifs in music, signatures in environmental sounds. At higher levels, these patterns are grouped into categories: words, voices, emotional tones, and semantic constructs.

Critically, meaning does not reside in the signal itself. The same acoustic waveform can yield different interpretations depending on context, expectation, and prior knowledge. Meaning is therefore an emergent property of hierarchical processing, not an intrinsic property of sound.

---

VI. PREDICTIVE CODING: THE ANTICIPATORY BRAIN

Contemporary neuroscience increasingly frames perception as a predictive process. Within this framework, the auditory cortex is not merely reactive but anticipatory. It continuously generates hypotheses about incoming sound, comparing predictions to actual input.

Discrepancies between expectation and signal—prediction errors—drive learning and refinement. This dynamic enables remarkable perceptual feats: understanding speech in noise, anticipating musical resolution, and recognizing familiar voices with minimal input.

In this view, perception is not extraction but inference. The brain does not wait for meaning to arrive; it actively constructs it, updating its models in real time.

---

VII. PLASTICITY: THE RECONFIGURABLE MAP

The auditory system is profoundly plastic. Cortical representations shift in response to experience, training, and injury. Musicians, for example, exhibit expanded cortical areas devoted to behaviorally relevant frequencies. Language exposure during critical developmental windows sharpens phonemic discrimination, while deprivation can attenuate it.

Even in adulthood, the auditory cortex retains the capacity for reorganization. Following damage, adjacent regions may assume lost functions, demonstrating that neural maps are not fixed boundaries but adaptable fields.

Thus, the cortical map of sound is not simply inherited—it is continually rewritten.

---

VIII. BREAKDOWN AND REVELATION: WHEN MAPPING FAILS

Pathologies of the auditory system reveal the layered structure of perception. Damage to primary auditory cortex impairs basic discrimination of pitch and intensity, while lesions in higher-order regions can disrupt recognition despite intact hearing—a condition known as auditory agnosia.

Temporal processing deficits can fragment speech perception, rendering language unintelligible even when individual sounds are detectable. These disruptions illustrate a crucial principle: meaning is not embedded in sound but constructed through successive transformations.

When one layer fails, the illusion of immediacy dissolves, exposing the architecture beneath perception.

---

IX. EPILOGUE: THE TRANSLATION OF VIBRATION

A sound begins as pressure in air, propagating through space without intention. It becomes mechanical displacement within the cochlea, then electrochemical signaling along neural pathways. It is mapped, transformed, integrated, predicted, and contextualized.

Only at the end of this cascade does it become what we recognize as meaning.

What we hear, then, is not the world as it is, but the brain’s reconstruction of structured vibration. A translation across domains—from physics to physiology to cognition.

A map of the invisible, rendered as experience.

Dr. Royal Rife understood this deeply.

While Tesla explored electrical frequencies, Dr. Rife focused on biological frequencies - the specific vibrations that affect living cells.

Together, their work pointed to the same truth: everything in the universe operates on frequency.

Your body is no exception.

When your frequencies are balanced, your body can heal naturally. When they're disrupted, discomfort follows.

Dr. Rife spent his life mapping these frequencies so we could restore balance without drugs or invasive procedures.

Familiar to anyone? Childhood memories ☺️🌿 Up the airy mountain, Down the rushy glen. 🍃

In Irish folklore, the “wee folk” are often placed within the landscape itself - not distant, but nearby, moving through hills, water, and quiet places just out of sight.

In The Fairies, William Allingham draws on that tradition, presenting them as both alluring and unsettling - figures tied to beauty, but also to risk and unpredictability.

The poem reflects a long-standing belief found in Irish oral tradition: that certain places are not empty ground, but shared spaces, where the ordinary world and something older sit side by side.

✒️Up the airy mountain,
Down the rushy glen,
We daren’t go a-hunting
For fear of little men;
Wee folk, good folk,
Trooping all together;
Green jacket, red cap,
And white owl’s feather!
Down along the rocky shore
Some make their home,
They live on crispy pancakes
Of yellow tide-foam;
Some in the reeds
Of the black mountain-lake,
With frogs for their watchdogs,
All night awake.
High on the hill-top
The old King sits;
He is now so old and grey
He’s nigh lost his wits.
With a bridge of white mist
Columbkill he crosses,
On his stately journeys
From Slieveleague to Rosses;
Or going up with music
On cold starry nights,
To sup with the Queen
Of the gay Northern Lights.
They stole little Bridget
For seven years long;
When she came down again
Her friends were all gone.
They took her lightly back,
Between the night and morrow,
They thought that she was fast asleep,
But she was dead with sorrow.
They have kept her ever since
Deep within the lake,
On a bed of flag-leaves,
Watching till she wake.
By the craggy hillside,
Through the mosses bare,
They have planted thorn trees
For pleasure, here and there.
Is any man so daring
As dig them up in spite,
He shall find their sharpest thorns
In his bed at night.
Up the airy mountain,
Down the rushy glen,
We daren’t go a-hunting
For fear of little men;
Wee folk, good folk,
Trooping all together;
Green jacket, red cap,
And white owl’s feather!
