When you’re such good friends with your colleagues that you decide you need a “do not disturb” sign when you’ve got reports due…

and this is what you come up with. 🦒😂

Because nothing says “I’m focusing, do not talk to me!” like a giraffe hat and a strong coffee. ☕️

✨ Behind every child’s progress in physiotherapy is a parent / carer / family member who plays an important role.

Parents provide encouragement, reassurance, and consistency — whether that’s celebrating small wins, offering comfort on tough days, or helping their child stay motivated to keep going. These moments of support create a foundation that allows children to feel safe, confident, and ready to participate.

At Outreach Physio, we see parents as partners in the journey. Your presence, patience, and commitment make a meaningful difference in how children engage and progress with their goals. 💙

✨ When people imagine physiotherapy, they often think of a sterile, clinical environment.

But at Outreach Physio, paediatric sessions look a little different.

Our space is colourful, engaging, and designed to feel inviting and supportive. When children feel comfortable in their surroundings, they’re more likely to join in, participate and make meaningful progress. 💙

👉 Which part of our “reality” do you think your child would enjoy most?

✨ Giggles & Gains – straight from our families!
We’re feeling the love 🧡 Families have told us how much they value the fun, connection, and confidence their children experience through our play-based physiotherapy sessions.

💬 "I enjoyed connecting with others in a fun, supportive space!"
💬 "Everyone is so welcoming and friendly."
💬 "I loved the laughter as much as the exercise!"

It’s feedback like this that keeps us smiling and striving! Thank you to every family who’s been part of Giggles & Gains 💫

💡 Did you know running can be trained—just like walking—for kids with cerebral palsy?

A new study shows that a structured running program helped 86% of kids with CP GMFCS I, II and III, reach or even exceed their running goals 🙌. And the benefits went beyond movement—kids gained confidence, joined more school activities, and had more fun with friends.

🏃 Why it matters: Running opens doors to play, sport, and participation.
✨ Why it works: Goal-focused programs + motivation + practice = success.
👩‍⚕️ What it means for physios: Don’t just stop at walking—running is trainable too (for children 9-18, GMFCS I, II and III).

At Outreach Physiotherapy for Kids, we’re here to support your child’s movement goals with evidence-based, fun, and family-centred care 💙.

🚸 How are Aussie kids really doing when it comes to movement?

The latest report card shows we’ve got some work to do — but the good news is, every little step counts! 💪

✅ Build strong bones & muscles
✅ Boost attention & learning
✅ Improve sleep & confidence

From role modelling and active travel 🚲 to limiting screen time 📱 and sneaking in “brain breaks” 🧠 — these simple strategies can make a big difference for your family.

💬 Tell us in the comments: What’s one way your family will add more movement this week?

🦴 Why does hip surveillance matter in CP?

Because hips can change silently — without pain — and early checks can prevent serious problems later. Dislocations, surgery, and discomfort aren’t inevitable when we act early.

👶 Whether your child is walking or not, hip checks are essential.
📅 Start early, check often (based on risk), and follow the plan.

✔️ Parents: Ask your physio about a hip surveillance plan
✔️ Clinicians: Make hip checks routine

💡 10+ years of research proves it works — fewer dislocations, less pain, better quality of life 💛
