MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
What a year!
We managed around 100 remote trips from Wadeye to Galiwinku… if there was red dirt, humidity and a car without aircon, we were there!
A few reflections…
💜 My team
Honestly, a group of absolute powerhouses.
Smart, funny, kind, dedicated, and not afraid of a bit of sweat or chaos. They advocate, they problem-solve, they support each other, and they work incredibly hard. I feel very lucky to be surrounded by such impressive women every day.
💜 Team culture
Every new staff member says a similar thing; that they feel supported by their team members, they can always ask for help an get the support they need.
I always remind everyone always, there’s no such thing as a silly question. Also if it won’t matter in five years, it’s not worth stressing about now!
💜 The Top End has a lack of OTs, often our clients are unable to access OT. Our team up-skilled in equipment scripting (within scope) and absolutely nailed it. Adaptable queens.
💜 Behind the scenes wins
We are always updating systems be more efficient, implementing automations, safe AI tools, more PD, more workplace flexibility, more resources, new equipment and our fab pin-loaded adult gym.
💜 Our AHA squad - now five strong!
Caring, capable, client-focused, and just genuinely beautiful humans. Next year they’ll have their own team leader, to further support, train, teach and develop.
💜 Shianne
Our practice manager who has run rings around the chaos, keeps us organised, makes us laugh, and wins the hearts of every client who walks in. We absolutely adore her (and her love for Bon Jovi!)

Seeing clients and families come in feeling supported and leave feeling accomplished is still the best part of the job.
