Apologies for being quiet. I really want to get onto why I created this page - to help improve access to reliable, clear health information you can hopefully trust.
But there has been alot happening. Our health service is suffering - and my colleagues are feeling the devastating effects of a toxic, unsafe workplace.
I am using my voice to try to help - because I have nothing to lose. I had to remove myself due to bullying and harrassment for standing up with my community. Noone should lose their job for using their expertise and skills to advocate for better outcomes for those around them. This is what we are doing. Some are trying to twist the story, to make it seem like there are other games in play.
They are the ones playing games. We are not. We are tired, stressed - and that is just from the fight we have been fighting for our health service.
Our community deserves better. Trust us - we are on the right side of this. We deserve equity in healthcare. We should not settle for less because of where we live. Our health matters. Please join in and add your voice. It is not over.

Welcome. The aim is to make you feel more comfortable and confident about your health. That can mean many things - and be confusing. No need. Thats the whole reason for this page - try and make healthcare easier to talk about.

Cancer is a scary topic. But lets try and make it simple.
There are multiple cancer screening tests available.
Who needs what? This is a nice summary to start.
Liver - less of an issue in Australia, but a growing issue with alcohol related disease.
Always remember Skin checks. Skin cancer is a huge issue in Australia. March is melanoma awareness month - so keep an eye out for handy skin tips in the next few weeks

Protect yourself. If you are like me - mosquitoes absolutely attack me. Despite our incredibly dry conditions and minimal water lying around - there has been Japanese Encephalitis cases and also Kunjin virus (West Nile Virus) detected in patients in North East Victoria. They are high risk conditions.
Protecting yourself is easy:
- wear sleeves
- use insect repellant
- avoid high risk times of the day (dusk)
