It’s Invisible Disabilities Week (19–25 October)! 🌻

Around 80–85% of people with a disability have one that isn’t visible. These include neurological, cognitive, sensory, mental health, and chronic conditions that aren’t always immediately apparent.

Not all disabilities are visible — but a little understanding and kindness can go a long way in making everyone feel seen and supported.

Aman plays an integral role in ensuring our member services run seamlessly. From expertly managing rosters to maintaining strong communication with members and stakeholders, he keeps everything on track.

Having started his journey with Igknight as a mentor, Aman has grown into his current role, where his passion and dedication continue to make a meaningful impact on our team and the people we support🎉

Igknight provides individual support in-home or in the community. All support is one-on-one (1:1) and can be varied according to your needs during our service agreement process.

Meet our team!👋

This is Cherie🧡

Manager, Community Access Services

Cherie started working in the disability sector while she completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology at the University of Wollongong. For nearly thirty years, Cherie has worked in community services in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven regions. This has included working across the disability sector, aged care sector, providing carer supports, and in a mental health recovery program. During this time, Cherie also completed a Diploma of Dementia Care with the University of Tasmania. Cherie loves that each person she encounters through her work is unique, and that the NDIS allows for person-centred, individualised supports. Cherie also strongly believes in building good relationships with other networks and providers, working together with the participant to achieve their goals👏
