Submissions for Journey of Hope online art exhibition open!

We are opening to submissions for an online art exhibition, Journey of Hope, for National Su***de Prevention Day on 10 September. The exhibition aims to honour the creativity and sensitivity of people we have lost to su***de, their lives and how they lived; and to showcase our journey through grief.

You can submit images of art, photography, crafts and pottery, produced by people who have died by su***de and people who have been bereaved by su***de, with a brief description of each image, which will be posted on our website.

More than one image can be submitted. Email griefjourneysworkshops@gmail.com

* You must have intellectual property rights to any image submitted.

Our first free webinar of the year: Saturday 13 March 2021 10:30 am with David Newman, followed by the Grief Journeys AGM. David will speak about his work using the narrative approach with those who experience suicidal thoughts as well as those who are bereaved by su***de. He will include stories of his work and in particular, a postvention project he undertook with his colleague, Marnie Sather.
