Woodanilling Playgroup has been invited to join in the schools Bookweek parade. This years theme is “Book an Adventure”. Playgroup kids are encouraged to dress up and join in the parade, which will be during the assembly at 10:30am. Playgroup members are welcome to meet at the school at the normal 9:30am time for the mums to catch up and the kids to have a play. Any questions don’t hesitate to ask Tayla on 0448298454.

Updated Term 3 Planner
Playgroup will be back at Woodanilling Primary school next week for the Book Week Parade and school Assembly. Then there will be two weeks in a row at the CWA Cottage. Then back to alternating every week.

This highly anticipated speaking tour titled ‘Big Feeling & Tricky Behaviours’ will offer Western Australian parents and caregivers invaluable insights and practical strategies for fostering stronger, more connected family relationships.
This presentation reflects Gen's own journey navigating the joys and challenges of parenting four boys with big feelings. Gen will dive into what’s at the heart of challenging behaviours, how to meet the core emotional needs of children, and why it’s often so hard to show up in the way we want.

Parents and caregivers will discover how to:
• Answer the three key emotional questions every child asks: Am I loved? Am I safe? Am I seen and heard?
• How to connect with kids in ways that make them feel loved and worthy of love.
• How to set a limit in four steps and why this will work so much better than the bribes or threats.
• Navigate your own emotional triggers and attachment patterns to show up as the parent you want to be
• Understand the power of repair, reflection, and “good enough” parenting.
