What is the Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme? (PTSS)

▫️Financial assistance for patients who are referred to a specialist medical service not available at their local public hospital or health facility.

▫️Patients approved for PTSS will receive a subsidy to attend the closest public hospital or health facility where the medical treatment is available.

▫️The scheme is QLD Government funded and administered through QLD Health & aims to support Queenslanders to access specialist medical treatment where they live in the state.
