9 Primary EFT Tapping points and Relative Meridians
Side of Hand (KC - Karate Chop) = Small Intestine Meridian
Releases feeling stuck and promotes ease in moving forward, letting go, healing from grief, and becoming happy in present moment
Eye Brow (EB) = Bladder Meridian
Releases trauma, hurt, sadness and promotes peace and emotional healing
Side of Eye (SE) = Gallbladder Meridian
Releases resentment and anger, promotes clarity and compassion
Under the eye (UE) = Stomach Meridian
Releases fear and anxiety and promotes feelings of contentment, calmness and safety
Under Nose (UN) = Governing Vessel Meridian
Releases shame and powerlessness and promotes self-acceptance, self-empowerment and compassion for self and others
Under Mouth (UM)/Chin Point = Central Meridian
Releases confusion and uncertainty and promotes clarity, certainty, confidence, and self-acceptance
Collar Bone (CB) = Kidney Meridian
Releases the feeling of being stuck, promotes ease in moving forward, and boosts confidence and clarity
Under Arm (UA) - Spleen Meridian
Releases guilt, worry, and obsessing and promotes clarity, confidence, relaxation and compassion for self and others
Top of Head (TH) = Intersecting point for multiple meridians and Crown Chakra
Opens crown chakra and promotes spiritual connection, while anchoring in the new balance and alignment from the tapping round just completed
Whist these are the primary points; there are other points on your hands and body that may also be incorporated.
For the perfectionists out there, there is no need to get the point absolutely on the dot! You may feel extra sensitive, and getting close will have the same impact for you. Through the physical act of tapping on the points while thinking or speaking about your source of distress, you are able to send calming signals to the brain and help yourself get back to feeling more balanced and centered.
There are setup statements that you begin with, and those will be worked out with your practitioner for the source of distress you are feeling and wanting to work through.
