We are proud to celebrate two incredible women from our community who were recognised at the OUTER EAST 'Community Bank' Football & Netball Awards Night:

Rachael Maxwell – a Top 6 finalist for Volunteer of the Year through both the Wesburn Junior Football Club and Warburton - Millgrove FNC. Rachael’s dedication, leadership, and tireless commitment to her clubs and community is inspiring.

Anita Woods was honoured for her 20+ years of service, recognising the decades of hard work, care, and heart she has poured into her club and league.

Alex Woods was named in the Top 6 Photographers of the Year and took home the win! Alex’s talent behind the lens captures not just the game, but the heart of community sport.

At Violet Dreaming, we believe in the strength of community and the power of women leading with generosity, resilience, and love. Both Rachael Maxwell and Anita Woods are incredible examples of what it means to give back and create spaces where people feel safe, supported, and connected.

Congratulations Rachael, Anita & Alex your efforts don’t just support your clubs, they strengthen the whole community. 🙌✨

So, for the month of May, I have finally made the step towards allowing myself the time to invest in sharing my Therapeutic and training business. I have enjoyed working with some fantastic organisations: Swinburne University of Technology, Ryan Chand & Arnhem Land Progress Aboriginal Corporation (ALPA), Janet Lodge.
For the first time, I am sharing my first blog publicly, talking about the importance of Women in local sports. The Burras are a great example with exceptional leadership. Nelson Aldridge

No better way than to spend the day with the people I love.
Happy Mothers day
But I wanted to say to everyone who struggled today, it's okay. Mother's Day can be hard. This is the second year without my Nan. My Nan was like a second Mum to me.
This year, I focused on all my blessings.
I was lucky to have a Nan who loved me and my children.
Mother's Day has not always been an easy space for me, but I am rewriting that story.

As I’m getting ready today to share Wayapa Wuurrk in my home town of Warburton for the Warburton Birrarung Riverfest it’s a timely reminder of how important this work is.

Wayapa is a bridge between the worlds in so many ways and a powerful cornerstone needed to lay the foundations for true wellbeing . We are so grateful to all in the Psychological community who are recognizing the power of earth connection practice such as ours based on Indigenous planetary wisdom . Their support and research allows us all to grow , heal and learn .
