This mornings 630am (friday) class rocked my world.

I came to work so tired. Self inflicted so don't give me any sympathy!

But, to my morning class, THANK YOU. 🙌
You brought the light. You brought the laughter. And you teased the heck out of me. 🤣 You made my morning brighter.

And, I love you for it. ❤️

I love that this is your yoga space as much as it is mine and that we support each other no matter how we show up. ✨️

I still have to pinch myself on how AMAZING this yoga business is unfolding each week.

This morning, I fell in love with my Hatha yoga practice again.
Truthfully, I had fallen away from more active physical practices for a VERY long time. I spent most of my time needing gentle movements or just meditation.

But the last few weeks my body and mind felt ready to reengage more challenging active practices. I began with 3 rounds of very simple salutation. Literally 10 mins maximum of breathwork and movement. It felt like a chore but my soul was telling me to stick with it.

Gradually my practices became longer (not the goal, just happened) and then love started to regrow again: for my practice and for my body.

As I stood at the front of my mat, this morning, tuning in to what I needed, I received a clear sign to go for it: an inverted rainbow hovered above me. Not sure of the symbolism but a sure smile from above that I was being guided to play.

So as sweat poured off me, I couldn’t help but smile as I shifted from pose to pose. Joyful as my body showed me where I needed to yield and where I was in flow.

As I collapsed into a sweaty puddle at the end, I thanked my body. I also thanked yoga for once again showing me how to be patient and to love myself.

This is what happens when we learn to listen to our inner knowing. As a teacher, I felt guilty for not doing enough. But as a student of yoga, I followed what was true for me. And I was gifted a rainbow!

So, I invite you to listen to that inner voice. Trust in your own intuition and you too, will have your own rainbow miracle as everything falls into alignment.

💛 A gentle community reminder 💛

Over the past few months, I’ve noticed an increase in last-minute cancellations and occasional no-shows. I completely understand that life can be unpredictable but when cancellations come in too close to class time, it leaves empty mats that others on the wait-list would have loved to fill.

My studio is small, just 7 mats, so every space really does make a difference. Late cancellations not only affect other yogis but also impact my small business directly.

I’m considering a few small changes to help this balance out, but for now I simply ask that if you can’t attend, please cancel as early as possible so your space can be offered to someone else. Feel free to send me a direct message.
