As most of you know, I’m a Yin Yoga teacher based in Perth. I was one of the first Yin Yoga teachers in Perth and have been teaching for almost 20 years now 😬

I was trained by Paul and Suzee Grilley, who were the pioneers of Yin Yoga, and I have always followed their traditions in the way I teach 🙏

I teach regular Yin and YinYang yoga classes in Mt Lawley and in North Perth. ✅

Students often ask what is YinYang yoga. Well Yang is active yoga and Yin is static floor postures.
Yang is repetition and movement which muscles love, and I really try to define that in my classes. 💪

Suzee Grilley was a professional dancer and most of the Yang sequences I teach, were developed by Paul and Suzee. I have recently added a few elasticity movements to keep that bounce in our bodies as we get older. 🕺🏾

The Yang sequence goes for around 30 minutes, followed by 1 hour of Yin 🩵

I teach YinYang at 9.30am Saturday’s in Mt Lawley and have recently started a 5.30pm Monday class in North Perth ☯️

Join me in ‘The Infant Series’ a 3 hour workshop where we retrace the steps of an infant 👶

We will begin on our back, the way an infant begins its life in its crib. Working the spine horizontally, not taxing, retracing the steps of an infant, working itself into a standing position 🙎🏽‍♂️

After making our way into a standing position, I will guide you through a dynamic Yang sequence, exploring our balance with repetitive movements and discovering what a miracle it is to actually stand up. 🙍‍♂️

The workshop will conclude with a guided meditation, followed by Shavasana 🧘🏽‍♂️
