I am delighted to be stocking what is, in my opinion, the BEST product on the market for cooling relief following birth and for conditions like vulval varicosities that create vulval swelling.

The MamaCool™ pad provides a safe, effective and convenient method of delivering cooling therapy to women experiencing perineal trauma or swelling post va**nal childbirth. Its unique design provides a hygienic and comfortable pain management solution that supports mothers in their post-partum recovery.

MamaCool™ was created by a Midwife, with your comfort in mind. Its distinctive holes allow post-birth blood (lochia) to flow through to the maternity pad underneath to keep the va**na and perineum dry. The soft and smooth semi-absorbent outer layer is gentle on stitches and the shape of the pad contours to your body.

The MamaCool™ pad’s position can be adjusted for cooling and comfortable support to peri-urethral, labial, perineal and a**l injuries.

I recommend MamaCool™ for postpartum recovery and to relieve symptoms associated with vulval varicosities, vulval swelling, pelvic congestion and recovery following vulval, a**l and perineal surgery.

Local pick up and delivery is available in Young or with any of Hilltops Women’s Health outreach clinics.

Grab yours via the website (link in bio) or message me here.

V@ginal and vulv@l dryness are another one of those things you've probably been led to believe you have to live with.

You don't.

It can be a response to what's going on in your whole body, like dehydration or stress. It can be because your microbiome is out of whack from (for example) spending days in your swimmers over summer or taking antibiotics. It can be hormonal, due natural fluctuations in your cycle or declining oestrogen in perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause. It can be due to congestion or ailments in your pelvis and pelvic tissue.

All those things can be addressed.

You don't have to live with it.

See your care provider or pelvic health practitioner for support and individualised advice.

For an empowering, holistic and gentle approach to returning flow and drainage to pelvic soft tissue, consider an Internal Pelvic Release Work session. Referrals and suggestions for complimentary care are always included.

Your core is so much more than your belly and pelvic floor.

If you’re planning to rehabilitate or strengthen your core, correct engagement technique is essential to ensure you’re not increasing pressure while increasing intensity, impact or load.

That looks like coordinating engagement with breath and using a floor-up approach to lift and wrap muscles and pressure up off the pelvic floor before adding load or a specific core movement/exercise.

If you’re not sure whether you’re doing it probably, begin by noticing pressure and sensations in your pelvis as you exercise and seek out an appropriate care provider to assess your pelvic floor function and core engagement technique.

If you’re planning to return to running or weightlifting in postpartum, an appropriate care provider can make all the difference to maintaining your pelvic health as you do.

Not sure what I’m talking about? Send me a DM and let’s chat!

My 2026 Sankalpa 🙏🏼

Something big may be happening this year… or not. We don’t know yet.

If it happens it will be the fulfilment of a childhood dream and a family legacy. It will also be incredibly exciting, disruptive and pretty terrifying.

If it doesn’t happen, it will be a heartbreaking closure of a door. It will also be a dedication to our livelihoods as they are.

Either way, I need this Sankalpa so I can accept and trust that whatever happens is right.

It’s nicely aligned with my lifelong Sankalpa, so here’s to trust in 2026.

I’d love to know your 2026 Sankalpa, intention or word. Let me know in the comments or DM.

2025, you’ve been fabulous!

I’ve loved meeting so many women from across a vast area of rural NSW to bring the essential work of pelvic care to our communities.

None of this would be possible without your trust, commitment to your own pelvic health and openness is sharing your story. So, thank you 🙏🏼

My deepest gratitude to all the care providers and practitioners who have welcomed me into their spaces for outreach clinics and who have referred women to me for care. Your dedication to women’s health is inspiring.

And of course, to my partner in life, parenting and ‘I just need you to install this thing for me’… I couldn’t do any of this without Will embracing what I do and being a champion for women’s health in his own way.

Here’s to an amazing year of growth in 2025! I can’t wait to see what 2026 brings.

There are A LOT of podcasts out there and by no means is this an exhaustive list.

But these are the three podcasts focused on women’s and pelvic health that I come back to again and again - because of the way they present information, the quality of the interviews and the breadth of the topics.

I still use my professional and personal discernment - there are always topics and guests that I don’t agree with - but overall the quality of the information in these podcasts is high.

So if you’re looking for pelvic health empowerment and information as you travel over this holiday season, give these three podcasts a try:

• The Great Birth Rebellion with

• Between Two Lips with **nacoach

• You Are Not Broken with

Got a favourite? Let me know in the comments.

I had an intriguing session recently with a woman who had knee pain and pelvic heaviness during her bleed and we discovered her Obturator Internus fascia, pubocervical ligaments and anterior fascia were incredibly tight and bound up.

Her latest bleed after our session had minimal pelvic heaviness and no knee pain. Bloody brilliant!

Your body’s communication with you makes complete sense when you have an understanding of your anatomy. I’m still mad that we’re not taught this when we’re younger.

Internal Pelvic Release Work teaches you about the complex and fascinating ways your pelvis works, while aiming to bring balance, ease and flow into the tissues.

Get in touch with me here or head to the website for details and to book your care session.

Fascia contains nerve cells, sending messages to and from your brain and contributing to your interoception.

Some fascial tension is the result of mental, emotional and energetic messages that you have embodied.

The ones that I see most commonly in the pelvis? Things that have:
- Shaken your foundation
- Violated your safety, security or vulnerability
- Interfered with your creativity
- Questioned your sense of self

Your wonderful body will step in to protect and stabilise you in ways that you may not be aware of. Until that tissue’s role is acknowledged and permitted to step back, it’s very difficult to release, heal and move on.

Get in touch with me here or head to the website for information on how bodywork and internal pelvic release work can support you.
