Carrick,
you will never be alone. Never.

In our home,
we have learned that love is stronger than fear,
and strength grows quietly.

There were days that weren’t easy,
moments when a seizure left us without words,
but even then, we kept going.

Always together.

You are more than a diagnosis.
You are our light,
our joy,
our teacher in life.

Today we tell the world:
there is no reason to feel ashamed,
there is nothing to hide.

Epilepsy is part of our life,
but love is our power.

On this day, Purple Day,
we wear purple with pride,
to show compassion,
to share,
to break the stigma.

Carrick,
you are our heart.
And through our story,
we help the world understand more,
