Zdravlje za sve Zdravlje je pravo a ne privilegija. Ovo je stranica za promociju zdravlja. Zakonom je zabranjeno naplaćivanje zdravstvenih usluga ovim kategorijama stanovništva.

Pravo na zdravstvenu zaštitu zakonom je zagarantovano svim građanima BiH, kao i besplatna zdravstvena usluga trudnicama, djeci do 18 i starijim od 65 godina. U nekim kantonima FBiH ovaj zakon se ne poštuje. To mora stati. Zdravlje je pravo a ne privilegija!

Damir Lalicic, Partnerships in Health, outlined the main topics of the .0 partners meeting in Bosnia and Herzegovina and noted the steps to plan further efforts in Southeast Europe:

The Regional .0 Meeting was held on Wednesday and Thursday in Sarajevo. The meeting was attended by more than 50 participants from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Montenegro.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the project's achievements and results so far in the areas of PrEP implementation, REact, ARV price reduction, Social contracting, advocacy, and Fast-track initiatives. Additionally, future plans and activities in the region for HIV prevention and control were also discussed.

The .0 continues to achieve significant results in improving the availability and quality of services to reduce new HIV infections in the region.

Strengthening collaborative efforts for innovative approaches in enhancing sustainable HIV response 💪🤝❗❗❗❗

We are pleased to announce the successful outcomes of the regional meeting held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on June 12th-13th, 2024. The South Eastern Europe Regional TB and HIV Community Network (SEE RCN) organized this significant gathering, bringing together key stakeholders from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia. Attendees included representatives from Ministries of Health, Health Insurance Funds, Public Health Institutes, civil society organizations, clinics, and the Alliance for Public Health.
The meeting in Sarajevo saw over 50 participants, including project staff, REActors, experts, and program managers, convene to assess the progress of the .0 project: "Sustainability of Services for Key Population in Eastern Europe and Central Asia"
During the meeting, notable achievements were showcased, including significant progress in implementing pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and reducing the cost of antiretroviral medicines. Additionally, advancements in the REAct platform for human rights protection and the Fast-Track Cities Initiative aimed at ending the AIDS epidemic in urban areas were highlighted. The meeting provided an invaluable platform to present the achievements of the .0 project over the 2022-2024 period and to set priorities for the future.
We are proud to have contributed to a sustainable response to the HIV epidemics in the South Eastern Europe region. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this meeting a resounding success! Together, we are making a difference.
