Barbados Association for Cancer Advocacy - BACA Barbados BACA Barbados, was established in 2011 as a registered Barbados Charity No. 875.

This community-based, voluntary organization is dedicated to minimising the impact of cancer on Barbadians by promoting education, early detection and treatment.

The Barbados Cancer Association USA (BACA), Inc. in collaboration with the Barbados Nurses' Association of America Inc., and the Caribbean American Medical & Scientific Association (camsa), Inc. present the Dr. Deborah Brathwaite Annual Cancer Symposium on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

This year's theme is Recent Cancer Trends.

The distinguished speakers for this event will be Wayne Greaves, MD, FACP, Shellie L. Gumbs, MD, MPH and Kathie-Ann Joseph, MD, MPH.
