Hi I'm coach Selena and I've got a few things about wellness to share with you!
Did you know that in the past few years since COVID 19, people have stopped exercising!? The mental pressure that the pandemic caused made people about 35% less physically active than they were before.
Why is that HORRIBLE news? Because exercise is not only to build muscle or for weight loss, being fit is good for mental and physical health, which are both connected and lead to a prolonged life!Many people were a lot fitter and healthier before, but now due to the pressures of life, they've decided that being fit is a luxury and something to do in the future. Sadly, most people never reach their fitness goals because of this mindset. We have a huge increase in cancer, autoimmune conditions and mental illness since 2020. When persons are stressed, they are als more likely to make extremely poor food choices which would also greatly enhance this decline in health.
Don't let the daily pressures of life or being accustomed to unhealthy habits or downright laziness cause you to live as less than you should. Keeping your overall weight in a safe place, looking your best, and just taking care of yourself should be major priorities in your life.
Ask yourself "How is my self care routine going?" and be honest. Investing in your self care can literally save your life.
A healthy lifestyle is not for when you're already sick, it's the foundation to keeping you well. There is no doctor that can cure poor eating habits and lack of movement. All they can do is profit from us when we reap the consequences of our actions.
Remember, although initially it may be challenging, the body adapts to challenges and gets fitter to be able to help you accomplish more and this is a part of seeing RESULTS which we all love. You CAN be the best version of yourself and this WILL positively impact every aspect of your life.
