Palliative care is specialized medical care for people living with a serious or terminal illness. This type of care is focused on relieving suffering from pain, symptoms and/or stress associated with the illness, with the goal of improving quality of life for both the client and their family.

Palliative care can be accessed at any stage of a serious illness,however, early access reduces the incidence of unnecessary hospitalization.

This type of care can be emotionally and physically difficult for all involved. At D & S Health Care Services, it is important that your loved one is comfortable and treated with the highest level of care, compassion and dignity. Our health care packages are tailored towards the needs of the patient and not the prognosis.
