Baking Soda Nasal Wash in Allergic Rhinitis/Rhinosinusitis/Nasal congestion

:
Baking soda nasal wash helps to clean the nasal passages, reduce mucus, and relieve nasal congestion and irritation in allergic rhinitis.

:
-Mix 1 cup of warm boiled water
-Add ½ teaspoon salt
-Add ½ teaspoon baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)
-Stir until completely dissolved.

of Use:
-Use a nasal dropper, syringe, or neti pot.
-Lean your head slightly forward.
-Gently pour the solution into one nostril and allow it to drain out.
-Repeat for the other nostril.

Use 1–2 times daily if needed.
Always use clean, lukewarm boiled water to avoid infection.
Stop if irritation or discomfort occurs

/ Benefit of Baking Soda in Nasal Wash (Allergic Rhinitis)
Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) is added to nasal wash solution mainly to improve comfort and effectiveness.


1. Maintains proper pH ⚖️
Baking soda makes the solution slightly alkaline, similar to natural nasal secretions.
This reduces irritation and burning inside the nose.
2. Soothes nasal mucosa 🌿
Helps calm inflamed nasal lining in allergic rhinitis.

Makes mucus thinner and easier to wash out.

Baking soda is added to nasal wash to buffer the solution, reduce nasal irritation, and help loosen mucus for better cleansing of the nasal cavity.
