Robotic surgery in gynaecology is a type of minimally invasive surgery that uses robotic technology to perform procedures with greater precision and control when compared to traditional surgical techniques
The surgical robot, which is controlled by a surgeon, consists of four robotic arms that are equipped with instruments and a high-definition 3D camera that provides a magnified view of the surgical site.
In gynaecology, robotic surgery is used for a variety of procedures, including hysterectomies, myomectomies (removal of uterine fibroids), and endometriosis excision.
