Subhan Allah
Our brain’s weight is around 1.6-1.8kg, still we don't feel it heavy. Our brain has a fluid called as Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) which performs several functions in our brain like acting as shock absorber, helping in excretion e.t.c. Among these the most important function is providing buoyancy/ up thrust force to the brain. Therefore, the amount of weight given by the brain to the trunk of our body, the CSF exerts the same up thrust force against it. This is how CSF helps in maintaining the equilibrium and we don't feel our brain heavy.

Our mental perspective matters.

The man doesn’t know that there is a snake underneath.

The woman doesn’t know that there is a stone crushing the man.

The woman thinks: “I am going to fall! And I can’t climb because the snake is going to bite me! Why can’t the man use a little more strength and pull me up!”

The man thinks: “I am in so much pain! Yet I’m still pulling you as much as I can! Why don’t you try and climb a little harder!?”

Remember this— you can’t see the pressure the other person is under, and the other person can’t see the pain you’re in.

This is life, whether it’s with work, family, feelings or friends, we should try to understand each other.

Learn to think differently, perhaps more clearly and communicate better. A little awareness, thought and patience goes a long way.

This is how a brain of an over thinker works-

1. Messaging someone a lot in a day-

Oh my God, I have sent him/her 20 messages and the replies were only 18. Did I seem too desperate? Lonely? Did I seem too available? Oh no, is he/she now making fun of me?

2. Caring for someone-

Am I being too pushy? Is he/she not understanding that I want the best for him/her? Is my attitude becoming very annoying? Oh no, is he/she going to stop hanging out with me? Am I being too clingy?

3. Opening up to someone (First of all, this is like an ongoing battle for us about whether to open up or not)

Am I sounding over dramatic? Am I wasting the other person's time? Am I bothering him/her? Am I boring? Am I over sharing? Am I being judged? Are my problems and feelings not really that big and I am making those bigger issues unnecessarily? Am I being a pain in the ass?

4. Applying for jobs/opportunities-

Why should I get it? I am not at all capable for it.
Why should they take me? Who am I? What do I have? Why should I even try?

5. After receiving appreciation/recognition-

Do I really deserve it? Or is the person/entity just being nice? Should I really be happy? Or should I be scared that it may just go away?

--------------

I go through this. Every Minute and Every Day.

Those who are relating to this, I feel you.

Those who are not, try to be kind to us, please.
